Peggle Blast is such a disgrace to the original Peggle

I played Peggle Blast from 3/28/25 to 7/10/26 and I can confirm it's one of the worst games I've ever played. Back when my Xbox 360 worked in 2017-2020, the original Peggle was so goated before EA bought PopCap. It truly was felt like playing a video game. The original 2000s developers want you to win. I kind of wish I was conscious in 2009 and not a baby thanks to games like these. However, with Peggle Blast they want you to lose so you're forced to pay money to win later in the game. I made it to level 90 and then deleted the game for good which I'm never reinstalling again.

Too many adverts

It was fun until it started making me watch an ad after every death

Garbage ad push app

Garbage compared to old Peggle. Watch garbage game ads to finish levels. Advance a bit and now watch ads after every level fail.

Cash grab

Nothing like the original game, made with lives, which you can purchase your way out of, every 5th level is so hard you either have to try for days to get lucky or buy your way out. If you’re looking for nostalgia from the old desktop game. Just forget it.

Вот что скажу:

Отличная игра, окунула в детство, когда я играл в Peggle на Xbox360. Игра не надоедает, все качественно проработано (для мобильной версии). Всем рекомендую!

Okay

I mean it’s okay but I have three major problems: 1: the art style is horrible, o prefer Peggle 2’s style. 2: the achievements are locked, I can’t get any of them. 3: the game is challenging, and it’s so challenging that I, someone who 100%ed Peggle 2, can’t get past Batrina. These are five major problems that need to be fixed. If they were fixed, I will up the review. But for now, I’m keeping it at 3 stars.

NO ONE LIKES THIS GAME

Just bring back Peggle deluxe and night back and you will make everyone happy

Life systems are trash

This is trash, why the hell do games have a life system, it honestly just ruins the game. It’s a good game, but because of that it’s annoying and not fun to play. Having to wait 1h to play again is ridiculous.

Awesome game turned into a scam

The game ads are regularly blocking you from returning to the game even if you wait and watch the full add. They make money when you click in frustration trying to return to the game. Icky scam.

Game is fine, but I can’t turn off the sound!

I’m satisfied with the game itself. I’m not seeing constant ads, but I get the option to watch ads for bonuses, etc, which is fine. If I run out of lives and have to wait, in my opinion, that encourages sane gameplay. Plus, you can replay previous levels without having lives if you REALLY need a game to play at that exact moment you ran out of lives.

Big problem I’m having is I can’t turn off the sound effects or music. I want to listen to other things while I play, but I can’t turn peggle’s sound off without just lowering all my volume. I see the buttons both in-level and in the main menu settings, but when I tap them nothing happens. Other buttons work, for example I was able to turn off the personalized ad settings, just not the sound and music. It makes it way less playable for me because the sounds and music are annoying when I don’t want them on.

very addicting omg

i LOVE peggle blast!! very addicting!! it keeps me and my buds very busy during band camp. we LOVE secretly playing this in the closet when we’re supposed to be helping and doing work! WE LOVE PEGGLE BLAST!!

You want what? For me to play children’s pachinko?

Nah don’t bother with this. I didn’t know you could shove so many micro transactions in a single game!

It’s good

Not as good as Peggle deluxe, but still Peggle.
It is crazy hard though. If you don’t want to run out of lives, just close, and reopen the game before you click the “end game” button.

Literally impossible

Listen I’ve been playing Peggle for at least 15 years now. Had it on PC and all. This version? Impossible. They have these gnomes (that makes you hit the ball twice before it disappears), ice (that makes you hit the ball THREE times before it disappears) AND bombs (that make you lose automatically after 5 ball throws) in ONE level. Dude, it’s impossible. I’ve tried like 50 times but this is ridiculous at this point. It’s SO clear that they’re just making levels hard so you spend money on extra balls. No way man. It’s just so scummy because Peggle is such an old game! Also I’ve literally never written a game review before and that tells you how strongly I feel. Like come on.

Peggle 2

Are you going to make a peggle 2 or add more levels? My son and I like playing this game together and just completed 208.

Lame

Game is clearly pay to win

You have to wait 20 minutes?

Just let me try again. You’re asking me to stop playing your game because I lost? Okay I will?

Where's Ode to Joy?

Seriously, 2 levels and no Ode to Joy

Used to be fun Now infuriating

Too many levels are almost impossible without power ups, where is classic Peggle? Want to love this game but it sucks

Ads make it a ‘no’ for me

I’ve played the Peggle games for a long time and was happy to see one for iOS. This one looks and runs great - until the ads come in. The wait for new lives is a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. Being forced ads and no option for an ad free version definitely is. I’d happily pay for an ad free version, but as it is - I’m uninstalling.
