Crashes
The light version works fine on my iPad 2, so I purchased the full version and it cannot record videos, it crashes right after I press record... Fix It please and I'll give it 5 stars.
Some Nice Effects
This app has some attractive effects that aren't the same as every other app with filters. Not a robust standalone editor, but worthwhile for the unique looks it offers.
Error
When i press the recording button, it's suddenly turned off. Please fix this error.

More controls to make photos unique
Being able to control the attributes of the textures a bit more would make our images unique.
Developers please note— we do NOT want to pay subscriptions, even though that works out better for you. Just sell an app and seem decent extras via the IAPs.

加工した画像を見る部分が小さい(液晶画面いっぱいにはならない)ので、そこがもっと大きかったらなぁと思います。
Stirs Imagination
Large assortment of effects, rendered quickly. One of my favorite features is the slideshow function in the upper right. It streams random images from your camera roll, rendered with auto-generated effects. Last week I visited two Boston art museums where I took a few hundred photos. It's entertaining to see them reinterpreted in this app as a slideshow. Gives me art ideas I might not have otherwise thought of. The rendered images look good and are fun to develop further in other apps.

Много разных фильтров, в принципе прилажка не плохая но вылетает при нажатии кнопки записи видео
Video crashes the app
The video feature causes the app to crash every time without fail. Also, the selection of filters is a little scant for the price of this app. Finally, the transparencies in the filters are static as opposed to generated randomly so each pic you use with a specific filter has the same pattern laid on top of it. I hope this app gets fixed soon. Until then check out aremaC and/or Orange Cam.

Can't take videos
The photo effects are quite nice but the app crashes when I press the video button 😑
My favorite app. 2/4/2015
I use it often, and my best outcomes have been with the filters on Pencil Camera. I have tried a lot of apps, and this is the most interesting. Is there a gallery that app where users can share their Pencil Camera photos? It would be fun to see other people's results
Not so happy
The filters this app provide are really cool yet very limited. You are unable to crop, rotate, zoom, or do pretty much anything besides filter the picture. I guess you can put the filter you want save and then open another app to do the rest, but who the heck wants to do all that. Would definitely not recommend this app for someone who doesn't have the extra time and patience.

Nice selection of effects
The very first thing I wanted to know was the output resolution. I think every photo app should show this info. On my iPhone 6 an imported image 3264x2448 saved the same size. A new photo shot with the app also saved at 3264x2448.
The app has a nice selection (18) of sketch effects and with 3 sliders to make fine tune adjustments.
It would be nice if the interface would rotate for imported portrait format images. Otherwise they are very small to work with. Maybe this will come in a future update.

Bombs out on iPhone 6 Plus
Interesting app, but video recording doesn't seem to work on my phone :(
