Seriously the worst
Has this app been updated in 30 years? It's awful.
Constant Trouble
This app appears to be great, but once you think you’ve turned on a piece of pool equipment (or turned it off) only to find out your pump isn’t actually on, even though the app reads “on”. I have replaced the Intelliconnect twice and the MasterTemp 400 board panel twice. Nothing from Pentair works properly, and if you think it’s a Wi-fi issue then the certified dealer of the Pentair equipment that installed my pool system was incompetent.

Intelleconnect is not intelligent
Pool app does not have basic functionality to set heater schedule separate from pump schedule. So the heater will run whenever pump runs. Otherwise you need to usual manual timer or set schedule for 1 day on every day! There is no each day of week schedule
Great when it works
Most recent update something changed. It no longer recognizes my spa as having a heater. It sees the pool heater just fine. It’s the same heater, only thing that changes from spa and pool mode is path of the water. So I can’t remotely heat my spa, but heating the pool is fine. Hope it’s fixed, but also concerned what they break next time.

Would not recommend at all
This app constantly crashes. Loses connection with the pool. To change settings, you have to click through way too many menus. Do better Pentair.

Ever since your connectivity debacle, the app has been terrible!
The user create flow does not allow for password mangers
When creating a user you require that the password would be typed in and you don’t support copy and paste or password managers. This inherently creates poor security practices.
It’s frustrating to see when developers think they’re doing something good like disabling copy and paste when all they do is drive bad behaviors

App sucks balls
This app sucks. It goes down all the time and you’re unable to connect to your Pool with the phone. Currently, it’s been down for about a month. And even though there’s been an app update within that time it’s still not working.
No notification for malfunctioning equipment!
So this is the second time my intellichlor has stopped working and the app has not provided me with a notification! This is critical to be aware of. The app shows the problem under the alerts section (bell icon) so why did it not send me an alert?
I love the watch app and find it super useful but it’s buggy and I have to frequently force quit and reload it, wait to log back in and refresh the current state of the pool to do something. It really needs the ability to do background app refreshes or improve the syncing with intellicenter and speed it all up. The app often gives an error message about needing to open the phone app also. Please look into this!
Also, it would be great to be able to control some basic functions using Siri - Siri turn on the hot tub, or turn on the water feature.

So tired
So many “helps”! Just stop. Make your app work. I am so tired of the “help”. STILL NOT WORKING! OMG!!!! This is a very expensive system. Figure it out! Stop asking users to connect to help to figure it out. If I could buy a different system, I would. Do not reach out to me anymore. Just fix your app!!!! Soooooo disappointed.
This is an update. This app is still not working. About 50% of the time when I am at home it will connect to my local network and we can use the app. 0% of the time when we are not at home, we cannot connect to our system through the app to control our pool equipment to have it ready for us when we get home. It is so very frustrating. We’re going on five years having this shotty equipment.

Update bugs
After the newest update, I’m not able to stop the daily scheduled program before the scheduled stop time.
If I start another program, it will stop but then reverts back to the daily schedule and keeps running.

I’m never works
The app no longer connect. It’s been down for like weeks and they never fixed it. I’m a about to replace a whole system.

Was great when it worked. Hasn’t worked for quite some time now. Customer support isn’t much help either.
Not well tested
App and control center routinely cannot connect. After the most recent update, there appears to be no way to correct it as it incorrectly assigns IP addresses then resets those addresses so that even whitelisting them doesn’t work. Our pool company, Integrity, has indicated they can’t correct it
Worst App Update Ever
Our pool was built in 2020, the previous app was amazing. They updated this app a few years ago and it's TERRIBLE. Not user friendly, not intuitive, so many issues. I literally hate it. We love our pool but with this app we can barely use features since they changed the entire app. It's garbage and used to work so well, it's summer and the app once again can't connect to the pool so we can't use our expensive pool lights. It's literally the most useless app

Horribly inconsistent
This app is so frustrating. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to turn on my pump, only for it to inexplicably switch back off. Don’t rely on this if you have the audacity to try and enjoy your $100k+ pool.
Bogus
The pump does what it wants to and this app never gives me any notification of it not working or why. I look out and the pump isnt running and I had no warning. No error messages. Worthless for keeping me informed. It claims to be running and it is not.
Great when it works
The function is good. UI is a little clunky, but overall not bad. The issue I have is that very very frequently, it disconnects from the panel and doesn’t let you log back in. No rhyme or reason when it works and doesn’t.
App disconnects every month or so
Every month or two I have to go to my pool control panel and reconnect to the app. Not the most stable
