What's New in People Plus Press
1.4.3
September 25, 2026
• New: "Near you" — opt in to see news from your district first. Location is optional, approximate, and used only while the app is open. • Tapping a news alert now opens that story, even when the app was closed • Fixed: stories opened from search could show an empty article • Fixed: passwords containing or could not sign in • Sharing now shares the article or video you're viewing, rather than the homepage • Shorts no longer fall back to videos that are no longer available • Updated privacy policy and corrected contact details • Removed labels that weren't backed by real data — "unread" dots on every notification, "Trending" and "Popular" tags on every story, and a "Verified" mark on any email address • A smaller, faster app
