Theory vs Reality
The concept of this app is great… the concept is where the good things stop.
The app constantly crashes, fails to “sync” decides to close its self when you swap to another tab (deleting whatever form your on), refuses to open if there’s too much data meaning anything stored and not synced gets deleted just to make the app work again and overall constantly fails.
Our work place runs this app for all its compliance and it makes my life painful, the problems above are more common and I mean daily - every single damn day this app will have a critical failure that makes you have to repeat your work.
Things seemingly even get lost between on site tablets and the operations office.
Furthermore People Tray developers seem to be doing absolutely nothing about the problems, it’s been like this since day one.
It also heavily depends on who ever is structuring the system within the company to keep it clean and relevant.
The app could be great but the software developers don’t seem to care to fix anything at all, not that I’ve encountered.
These problems might be related to the fact we use it in remote locations but that’s no good excuse for the constant frustration and double handling this app creates.
I cannot describe how many times this app and its copious flaws has caused a genuine rage amongst myself and my co-workers.
