100x Better than Email Newsletters

I love the app concept and execution. Signing up for newsletters and getting them in my email inbox was always an issue for me, because it would add a lot of clutter. I’d have all these nice-to-read newsletters mixed in with my need-to-read emails, and the result would be that I’d sometimes miss emails and feel scared to open up my mail with 100s of notifications racking up. Perch changed that for me because I now have clear separation from my obligatory email notifications and my fun perch notifications. I also like that separation because, now, when I get an email notification, I know to instantly read it, but with Perch it’s one of those things where it can rack up over the day and then I read all the new articles in one go at the end of the day. The voice feature is also very good and the newsletter selection is too. The only thing I would want changed is the way notifications work - for the badges (red circle), it shows how many new articles are in my inbox, but if I just open the app and don’t even read them, the badge disappears (suggesting that I’ve read all of the articles). I would rather it be where, for example, if I read 1 article/blog out of the 7 new ones, the badge drops down to 6 to show me that I have 6 more I still want to read. Please make this change! Other than that, though, the app is perfect and I recommend it to all my friends.

Love the mission ❤️

I’ve been procrastinating lately with my reading but 20 mins every morning on Perch has become my new normal and it makes my day so productive.

Amazing app!

The perch app is smooth moving to each topic. Well organized and structured! I love how it reads the story for you and highlights the words as you read along! Great work guys/gals.

One of the best apps I’ve ever used

What more can I say about this app, most newsletter aggregators are so bogged down with bloat that they’re not simple to use. Perch is the opposite. It’s clean, intuitive, and lets you choose how you want to consume your reading.

Read every line. Go ahead. Listen to the writing. Yup. Get a summary of the text. Of course.

Let alone that the ability to get newsletters in your inbox but blogs too makes this app one of the best around.

And the team is so speedy and personable when you submit feedback. A must download 🙏

Epicenter of tech news

I always wanted to read tech articles but didn’t have time and they’re all on different sites which is why I was so hesitant but Perch Reader makes it so much easier to do so and it even has a daily reads tracker to check your progress.
