100x Better than Email Newsletters

I love the app concept and execution. Signing up for newsletters and getting them in my email inbox was always an issue for me, because it would add a lot of clutter. I’d have all these nice-to-read newsletters mixed in with my need-to-read emails, and the result would be that I’d sometimes miss emails and feel scared to open up my mail with 100s of notifications racking up. Perch changed that for me because I now have clear separation from my obligatory email notifications and my fun perch notifications. I also like that separation because, now, when I get an email notification, I know to instantly read it, but with Perch it’s one of those things where it can rack up over the day and then I read all the new articles in one go at the end of the day. The voice feature is also very good and the newsletter selection is too. The only thing I would want changed is the way notifications work - for the badges (red circle), it shows how many new articles are in my inbox, but if I just open the app and don’t even read them, the badge disappears (suggesting that I’ve read all of the articles). I would rather it be where, for example, if I read 1 article/blog out of the 7 new ones, the badge drops down to 6 to show me that I have 6 more I still want to read. Please make this change! Other than that, though, the app is perfect and I recommend it to all my friends.

Love the mission ❤️

I’ve been procrastinating lately with my reading but 20 mins every morning on Perch has become my new normal and it makes my day so productive.

Amazing app!

The perch app is smooth moving to each topic. Well organized and structured! I love how it reads the story for you and highlights the words as you read along! Great work guys/gals.

One of the best apps I’ve ever used

What more can I say about this app, most newsletter aggregators are so bogged down with bloat that they’re not simple to use. Perch is the opposite. It’s clean, intuitive, and lets you choose how you want to consume your reading.

Read every line. Go ahead. Listen to the writing. Yup. Get a summary of the text. Of course.

Let alone that the ability to get newsletters in your inbox but blogs too makes this app one of the best around.

And the team is so speedy and personable when you submit feedback. A must download 🙏

Epicenter of tech news

I always wanted to read tech articles but didn’t have time and they’re all on different sites which is why I was so hesitant but Perch Reader makes it so much easier to do so and it even has a daily reads tracker to check your progress.

Tools

Excellent tool to easily expand the knowledge I’m consuming.

In a go-go world, I often can’t sit & read as I wish. But I can play this and listen.

Best app for easy to ready articles

I’m really excited to use this app in 2026. I’ve been reading more, but my attention span isn’t long anymore so this gives me the perfect summary with insightful interviews to take with me every day in the startup/business world. It’s also not too overwhelming with articles that make it hard to sort through. Awesome app!!

Wow! Great App

I stopped reading newsletters because sifting through emails became too much of a pain. This app makes reading them enjoyable again

Resourceful

As a young founder building two startups and working toward creating a future conglomerate, Perch Reader has become an essential tool in my routine. It has taught me the power of slowing down, listening intentionally, and capturing meaningful insights. By letting my mind rest while absorbing information through audio, I’m able to comprehend and retain far more than before. Perch Reader truly elevates the way I learn and process articles.

Essential to keep in check the great minds at one place.

Really good experience, and always wanted to have such a product.

Loved it!!!

Perch is clean, quick and works smoothly. One of my new favourite apps!

Delightful experience

Delightedly useful app to consume newsletters without hurting my eyes

Love the look and feel of Perch. Onboarding flow is one of the best I’ve experienced, elegant, beautiful, smooth

Keep up the great work!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Finally, An App That Actually Gets Reading Right (And It's FREE)

I don’t usually write reviews, but Perch has completely changed how I consume content, and I had to share!

-What Makes Perch Different??
Perch is hands down the easiest way to read and listen to newsletters and writers you care about. You can sync it directly to your email to access all your subscriptions in one place, or follow writers directly through the app. Both options are totally free. No paywalls, no catches.

-The Read-Aloud (text to speech) Feature Is a Game-Changer!!
I’m someone who gets easily distracted and reads pretty slowly, so the AI narration has been incredible for me. The voices sound shockingly natural, not robotic at all, and I can finally get through articles and newsletters while commuting, cooking, or doing literally anything else. The fact that this feature is completely free still blows my mind, especially when other apps (like Speechify) charge $15/month or more JUST for text-to-speech.

-Yes, It’s Actually Free!!!
I was skeptical at first too, but there really aren’t any tricks. Perch’s business model is transparent (check their About page if you’re curious). They almost work more like YouTube, where creators can earn money through the platform without charging users. We get an amazing product for free, writers get compensated, and everyone wins.

-The Interface Just Works!
Clean, intuitive, and user-friendly. No learning curve, no cluttered menus. Just a seamless reading experience.

-Bottom Line
If you read newsletters, follow any writers online, or just want to learn more efficiently, I genuinely can’t think of a reason not to try Perch. Download it, give it a try, and prepare to be impressed.

Great way to read more while staying on top of your inbox

Perch is a really convenient way to read stuff quickly, either in written form or audio and in the process stay on top of your inbox. Great app.

Great Aggregator

Excellent app for getting all your news sources and newsletters in a single app + text to speech to read articles!
Highly recommend 👌

not bad

It’s a good idea but it has a lot of room to grow and problems to be fixed

My favs in one place

Great app! I love that I can add in my favorite substacks as well. I found it nice to also see how much I was reading over time.

So easy and enjoyable to use

Perch has made reading and learning such a joy, so relaxing, and rewarding too. I have so many newsletters and resources that I want to engage with, but my email was getting bottlenecked and I wasn’t able to keep up. Perch centralized my access and made the entire process so much better. Walking to work? Listen to the AI reading. Need just some bullet points to think about on my own? Read the quick notes. It’s truly amazing and direct, and I hope they can keep ease and accessibility at the core of their work! Keep it up!
