About

Pet Med Reminder is a simple tracker for everything you give your dog or cat on a schedule: medications, supplements, treats, drops, chews. Built for the human caregiver, not the pet. Tap a notification on your lock screen to log a dose. That's it. No app to launch, no account to create, no signup. WHAT'S ON THE SCREEN • A "Today" view showing every dose for every pet, grouped by time of day • A history log of every dose given, skipped, or missed • A vet-ready PDF export of any date range, useful at appointments • Photos on every pet card, so you know which pill goes to which animal at 6am • A frequency picker that handles daily, every-N-days, and specific days of the week • Multi-pet, multi-species, multi-care-item: dogs and cats together from day one WHAT'S NOT ON THE SCREEN • No account, no sign-in, no password • No drug interactions or dosing advice (your vet's job) • No vaccination calendars or grooming reminders (different app category) • No social features, leaderboards, or shareable pet profiles • No streaks, badges, or "you're doing great" notifications • No third-party advertising THE PHILOSOPHY The pet is the patient. You are the user. Every design choice flows from that. A medication tracker for animals is not a "Health app for pets." Pets cannot tap Taken, cannot report side effects, cannot read the screen. The caregiver does. Pet Med Reminder is shaped for the half-second between "the treat is in one hand and the dog is in the other" and "she swallowed it." One tap. No decisions. No friction. The history log makes adherence legible without effort, so the vet conversation can start with data instead of guesswork. DESIGNED FOR HANDS FULL Warm palette, large names, photos as disambiguators. The notification with action buttons means you usually won't need to open the app at all. Mark Given from the lock screen and put the phone back down. Your dog is still squirming. WHO IT'S FOR • Owners managing a long-term medication (allergies, thyroid, heart, seizure) • Short-course owners doing a 10-day antibiotic or post-op pain regimen • Supplement and wellness routines: joint chews, dental treats, probiotics • Multi-pet households where the pills look identical at first glance PRIVACY Pet Med Reminder does not require an account. We do not collect your email, your name, your contacts, your location, or any identifier that links to you. Pet data is stored locally on your iPhone and synced via your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. We have no server and cannot see your data. A small number of anonymous usage events (number of pets in the household, number of caregivers, frequency mode of the item being logged) help us understand whether features are working. No IPs, no user IDs, no names, no other identifiers. See the privacy policy for details.

What's New in Pet Med Reminder Tracker

1.8.0

Smarter schedules for monthly meds. When you give a flea, tick, or heartworm dose late, the schedule now restarts from the day you actually gave it, not the original calendar date. No more reminders that drift out of sync with real life. - Mark a dose given late and every future dose reschedules from that day - See exactly when the next dose lands the moment you log one - Logging a past dose from History now records the real time you gave it Daily and weekly schedules are unchanged: those stay right where you set them.
