It’s okay, but…
Don’t get me wrong, I love Petdar it’s just that I was looking for fish but the smallest animal they had was a rat.

Currently looking for a dog, one that will eventually be my emotional support animal.
Overlooking Petdar which works with Petfinder is perfect because it’s and overview image of all the dogs in your face right there, easy to access. And once I find the dog I like the most, I click the pictures and read about the dog, and it will also take me to Petfinder itself and show me more info and let me submit an application with the agency the dog is at.

Just started this app. Noticed that some of the precious dogs do not have enough bio information. If there is a limited story then it could appear that there may be a serious issue and could turn someone off to fill out the application. That would be ok if we would be able to text some questions but we understand why that is not.
So more information would help these beautiful creatures from getting passed up in our opinion.☮️

Stops Working on "FAVORITES"
Recent update causes the app to stop working when you go to "Favorites"...Requires you to go to Petfinders.Com so you cannot go through your list saved. Please fix!

Requires location service but won’t let you just type a ZIP code?? I’m about to move and want to look for dogs elsewhere

Petdar is an amazing app for finding pets to adopt. I adopted two cats using petdar, and I was able to learn about their personalities and I found two perfect cats for me. I would definitely recommend petdar if you are planning on adopting a pet. Petdar also has lots of different pets, not only dogs and cats, but also horses, bunnies, small reptiles, birds, mice, and barnyard pets.

Great Idea
I think this is a great idea. I like how you can look at all the dogs. And the information you need, to make a good choice! I am looking forward to adopting a lifetime companion. Maybe even two little ones. I just want to know what the adoption fees are? And to thank you for this.
Great app, but bug needs fixed..
Hello! This is a really great app! I’ve seen so many darling pets for adoption on here! There is just one small problem. Whenever I go to my favorites, it starts loading up hundreds of other pets that I have not favorited. It makes it really annoying and difficult to find the little guys that I’ve hearted. Please fix this bug! Otherwise great app. 🤗

Use petfinder instead
Two things about this app... 1) it gets its data from petfinder only, so use the petfinder app instead. 2) it doesn’t save your search/filter criteria, so you have to enter your criteria each time you open the app—very annoying.
