User reviews

Terrible user interface, decent content

When I click on a link to get to the app, the app open to a web page interface inside the app, and I am never logged in. I then click on “Your News”, and the app treats me as logged in. But I may not be able to find the story that I click on. Any article that I do click on is in very small print and the app uses only about half the iPad screen. PBJ’s developers could probably make a better app interface by spending 60 minutes on ChatGPT or Claude!

Headlines and sharing

I get email headlines but often when I try to find the article on my app I cannot.

Make it easier to share articles with people who do not subscribe. Maybe they will like the articles and eventually subscribe but if not, no harm.

Pretty but not functional

Even after I’ve logged in, the app continues to ask me to log in to read articles. I’m a paid subscriber, I shouldn’t be logging in for every article. It’s also dangerously easy to accidentally buy access to individual issues, which again, shouldn’t even be a prompt for paid subscribers.

Why is there no search?!? What publishing entity app in 2018 doesn’t have a search feature?!?

Orientation

A very nice app, but you got to fix the orientation issue. If you select a sharing feature and the iPad is in landscape the app goes nuts. Half the app is landscape and half is portrait and it gets stuck that way requiring an iPad reboot to clear the app.

Great info...

The info I'd great, love how you can break it down by industry.
