Buggy and expensive
Serious problems with key. Many bugs, new app does not recognize key when plugged in. Truly expensive for such unfinished prorotype.

I use this on an iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and 3. Works great on iOS 6 and is a good product.

I just purchased the Hyperdrive iFlashDrive 8 GB and am very impressed. I have an iPad 2 on iOS 6 and was worried when I read the reviews. As I travel a lot I wanted flexibility to leave the MacBook Pro at home but was worried about iCloud and Dropbox access from time to time. I have loaded Word and Pages docs, Excel and numbers, PowerPoint and Keynote as well as PDFs. All work and the file manager is great. I am not super hi-tech and just wanted the comfort of having more file access on the go. This works well for me. I hope others with issues find a fix.

Doesn't work with iOS 6
External storage i-FlashDrive doesn't work on iOS 6. So expensive product is priceless now. Zero support.

I agree with the other customers, this flash drive is a rip off and the company won't respond to any of my requests for help. I wasted my hard earned money on this product. It does not represent the fine quality of an Apple product. Please pull it off before other customers are ripped off too.

Apple: Please remove this app and its successor from the App Store! This company is a rip-off, forcing customers to abandon an expensive dongle for a newer one. This company is nothing more than a scam.
I purchased the i-drive and downloaded the app for use with iOS 5. The app performed well. Once I upgraded to iOS 6, the app no longer worked. The fact that iOS 6 has been out for nearly 2 months and this app has not been upgraded is a disgrace. Apple, please remove this app from the App Store until this company and successfully upgrade it to be compatible with iOS 6. DO NOT buy this app or its USB drive if you are using iOS 6. This company does NOt support its software with timely OS upgrades.

I bought this device and came to find out that it will not work on my iPad or on iOS 6 or higher. What a waste of money....
No longer happy
Bought the drive in June when using iOS5 on my iPad, no probs and was happy with it. Now that I have upgraded the OS to iOS6 it no longer works so it now useless. Maybe the developers can sort this out as others have found it no longer works.

I bought one of the first 32 gb versions and used it until the ios6 upgrade. They are a terrible company. Have sent them six emails and they have not responded a single time yet for my plea of an upgrade or replacement to the new HD version. This company should be removed from the App Store immediately.

Expensive! If it did what it said then it would be great but you are limited with what you can transfer and since Ios6 it jut doesnt work, waited a hour for 2 pics to upload in the end i just emailed them :-(

Perfect solution for my needs
This product works perfectly with my first generation iPad. I needed a way to get some large PDF files onto the iPad which were too large to email to myself and which would not transfer via iTunes, yet the process is extremely simple using I-FlashDrive and the accompanying software application. I now have all the PDF files on my iPad and can access them using Adobe Reader.
Transfer speeds are very slow but it doesn't matter to me as there is no other way to get the files I need onto my device.

Does not work with my ipad2
This app works with my iphone 4 but is not working with Ipad 2. Needs an update!!!!! Please!!!!
Potential but flawed - so don't buy
This product worked well before iOS6 and now not at all. The company doesn't respond to any customer queries - so it's totally a waste of money and consumers are better off looking elsewhere - sorry - only got yourselves to blame!
