Photo editing powerhouse? I don’t think so. I’ve used this or similar programs but it’s like the very first version. It’s super clumsy and regressed from what I expected. I can’t recomend this.

Apple knocked this one out of the park. Preserving colour gamut is huge, and the editing is remarkably intuitive once you get into it.

Files view
I keep my pictures in files not pictures and the file view is not great. We can only see a very small icon. Why not having the option to show the pictures in that folder as it is in picture folder?
Could be good
If Apple actually did something with it then it could be good, but I have owned this for a year now and not one serious update. If you don’t want Lightroom then just get Dark Table. This isn’t it, maybe one day it will be.
Good Tools, Bad Owner
Do not but this software. It was headed in a wonderful direction and the Apple chose to purchase and put it to pasture. It’s what they do.
