Paid yet features are still locked behind subscription
This is beyond disappointing. Takes years for them to add features and then when they finally do add them basic features like multiple live dashboards it’s locked behind a subscription for users who already paid for the highest pro license.

I have a 3 major gigs in two weeks, and purchased the pro version just be told I have to pay more money just to use it. I want a refund…..

Hello, Your Pro purchase is 100% valid and gives you lifetime access to everything that was included at the time you bought it. No extra payment is needed to use what you paid for. The subscription you may have seen is only for new features we're rolling out in 2026 and beyond. It has nothing to do with your existing Pro license. We're in a transition period right now, so we completely understand the confusion, and we're sorry for the stress this caused right before your shows. If you have any questions or need help getting set up before your gigs, feel free to reach out through our community. We're happy to help! And if you'd still prefer a refund, we can make that happes on the Apple Refond Platform, though you would lose your lifetime Pro access. Enjoy your gigs!

Возможность менять местами прописанные каналы.
Приходится удалять что бы была нужная последовательность при работе.
Позже напишу больше.
В целом приложение хорошее, но для работы с головами нужны доработки - PAN FANE / TILT FANE
Возможно было бы не плохо возможность менять крест на фейдеры.
Парики, пары, блендера, дымомашины - хорошо.
Для голов делаю отдельные фейдеры.
Пока что 4,5 из 5
Из минусов бывает зависает.

Problème avec Eurolite free dmx
L’app est génial pour mon utilisation, très intuitif. Le Dashboard est une idée géniale !!
Mais problème avec le boîtier (Eurolite free dmx). De la latence s’installe rapidement et rend impossible l’utilisation live.

Excellente application mais dommage, les plantages sont trop réguliers. En espérant qu’ une mise à jour arrive rapidement pour exploiter tout le potentiel de cette application.

The best app I know for DMX lighting
I use this DMX app with my various lights (small par leds, bigger par led, 2 mini wash lyres, 1 big wash lyres and 2 tube light.

Works well indeed, but a I have a few wishes
Good usability, can run in the background while you use your score application in the foreground e.g. Also can be controlled via midi. Connects to a WIFI DMX bridge easily.
A few things I would love to see in the next releases:
- most importantly: set the BMPs via midi, not just Ableton Link
- a more compact design for groups, there‘s too much need for scrolling if you have more than 6 groups
- native RGB faders in the fixture controls in addition to the color wheel

More features for advanced users
It needs a better live dash board with the ability to add control faders for individual channels and more customizability, it would also be nice if you could control smart life devices too. Another big issue is some lights have multiple sections or zones of lights and there is no way to control them separately you have to create a bunch of groups of the same fixture which is very inefficient.

Ist irgendwie ziemlich basic. Hab jetzt 100€ ausgegeben für eine App, bei der ich jeden Schritt in einer Chase Sequence manuell bauen muss.
Stürzt regelmäßig ab, sogar mit M1 Chip im iPad Pro. An sich eine schöne und intuitive App, aber irgendwie verschenkt sie Potenzial / bietet nicht ausreichend Funktionen, um mehr als eine nette Spielerei zu sein. Schade, hoffe auf Updates

Effective Program for my band
This program has done exactly what I need it to do. Receives midi instructions from my click track and that activates scenes I have programmed for each song. The support has been very responsive. The community has been a help too. Hopefully it will continue to add additional features as time passed.

Tolles Konzept aber ausbaufähiger Funktionsumfang
Hat ein sehr intuitives Design und bietet eine gute Möglichkeit, um schnell und unkompliziert, ein paar Szenen abzuspielen. Besonders gut gefällt mir das ich mit dieser App mehr oder weniger neben her eine akzeptable Licht Show realisieren kann. Wer jedoch schon etwas tiefer in die Welt der Licht Shows eingestiegen ist, wird sich schnell Funktionen wie eingebaute Effekte oder die Möglichkeit Lauflichter zu bauen, vermissen. Dennoch jedenfalls empfehlenswert. Freue mich auf weitere Updates.

DMX Controller App A Dream I Love It!

sorry Please my Englisch not good.
Da mein Englisch nicht so gut ist, schreibe ich auf Deutsch, gibt ja Übersetzer.
DMX Controller App nach Wunsch, sowas hatte ich gesucht und habe mir diese App “Photon 2“ im Angebot gekauft.
Bereuen tue ich diesen Kauf nicht.
Es ist nicht leicht viele Funktionen, Effekte usw. in einer App zu Implantieren & der Preis ist mehr als gerechtfertigt.
Habe mich umgesehen nach einer DMX Controller App, gibt es ja aber, entweder Abo-Model, sprich man zahlt Summe X jeden Monat/Jahr oder/und wenn dann viel zu teuer. Die Umsetzung ist hier wirklich sehr gut umgesetzt worden. Bei der einen oder anderen App läuft dies oder jenes besser, wurde besser umgesetzt aber alles andere ist dann murks/schwer zu Verstehen/umzusetzen….
Bei “Photon 2“ habe ich alles was ich benötige & es wurde sehr gut umgesetzt von den Entwickler, vielen Dank für diese tolle Arbeit!
Es gibt auch von „“Photon 2“ ein Forum, ja in Englisch aber selbst ich komme damit gut zurecht. Dieser Entwickler Hilft auch gern weiter & Er hat sogar Videos veröffentlicht, somit wird einem die “Photo 2“ erklärt, wie & was Sie kann, Funktioniert usw.. Diese Videos sind zwar Englisch aber mir haben Sie sehr geholfen, wo ein Wille da gibt es einen Weg zum Ziel, vielen Dank den Entwickler auch dafür, viel mühe und Arbeit steckt in dieser App & Videos der Vorstellungen/Funktionen. Laut Forum, sollen weitere Videos folgen.
Mal Ehrlich gesagt, mehr kann doch ein Entwickler nicht tun oder, dieser bemüht sich wirklich sehr und wir können Alle mit an dieser App “Photon 2“ Arbeiten, Er geht gern auf Vorschläge/Wünsche ein.

Es wäre sehr schön, wenn es auch für iPhone Funktionieren würde und/oder macOS. So könnte man am macOS eine Show Programmieren & läd Sie dann nur noch im iPad oder iPhone hoch und schon kann die Lichtshow beginnen.
Ich nutze “Photon 2“ auf iPad mit meinem Interface “Showtec NET-2/3 Pocket“.
Die Einrichtung des Interfaces ist ein Kinderspiel.
Mit “Photon 2“ muss man sich natürlich erst einarbeiten, egal welche Software für DMX, es ist immer so & ich weiß noch lange nicht alles von “Photon 2“.
Kann “Photon 2“ nur Empfehlen, nicht nur für kleine Lichtshows geeignet, vielen Dank nochmals für diese Tolle Arbeit, ich liebe “Photon 2“, es macht sehr viel Spaß/Freude damit zu Arbeiten.

I wasn’t interested in DMX until…
This app paired with the edmx1 pro is so easy to use! I am pretty tech savvy though. I set up my 4 in 1 light by Marygel, hooked this thing up, and within an hour, I had set up a light show in Cubasis, exported it as .mid, imported the .mid file to Multitracker and BOOM! I have a perfectly timed light show with my backing tracks. This is a great app. Worth the money to me, because we make decent money using our backing tracks.

Great choice for most venues
I am a Chamsys MagicQ user and have found it difficult to use for new users/operators. I recently did an install for a pub with 6 fixtures and needed a SIMPLE user interface. I tried Photon2 and once setup I handed my iPad to the waitress and said “Here, turn on the lights and make them change Color” 8 seconds later she was running the rig. I gave 4/5 only because it does not have any dynamic effects built in as most competitors in this game do.
