Basically non-functional, feels abandoned
I downloaded Photosesh because it claims to do one simple thing: help you find photographers on-demand, including short-notice bookings.
The app feels totally neglected. Features are buggy, the flow is confusing, and the overall experience comes across like a rushed, outsourced build that was an obvious investor money-grab.
If you’re depending on this for anything time-sensitive, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere. Also, take the tiny number of existing reviews with a grain of salt. They read humorously polished and situational in a way that screams “bot farm.”
This is another gig-economy concept that feels like it’s headed for the app graveyard unless someone seriously rebuilds it or injects more funds to the project creators pockets.

Idea great, but…
The app doesn’t take any credit card information at all in anyway.

Downloaded it and tried to sign up and the app simply doesn’t work.
Payment system doesn’t work
App would prob be awesome if it took any of my credit/debit cards. Effectively useless.
Unresponsive Photographers!!
I have tried to request for a photographer a few times, never been able to get the request accepted by any photographer. I have sent requests to at least 15-20 photographers each time. I don’t think the photographers even look at the request, the app just lists them to disguise users.

Great option for those who actually want to be in photos
I’m always the picture taker at family events. For my daughters communion, I decided to book PhotoSesh. It was to easy navigate and booking was easy. We were very pleased with our photos and received a few samples that night and the entire event the very next day. Since then, we’ve used Photosesh twice for events. I even had a friend hire a photographer using this service who just shot with her iPhone since large cameras were not allowed in church! Pictures were then airdropped!

Waste of Time
This App was a complete disappointment for me. I booked a session, gave my card info, my family and I ourselves ready for family pictures, and the photographer never showed. The customer support is lacking, and I couldn’t get help in a timely fashion. I wish I never downloaded the app.
HATE IT
I hate this app. I usually travel alone on vacation and never have any photos to show for it; so, downloaded this app to see if I could snag someone to do it, the app not only kept crashing but when I was finally able to ALMOST get someone says that my credit card wasn’t accepted. A waste of space in my phone HATE IT.

No confirmation that photographer will show up
I booked a photographer for the first time to take pics of my business. I get to the building and wait thirty minutes and he has not shown up. I called and no answer. What if I was relying on a photographer for an event like a wedding! I understand that they cannot weed out every bad photographer, but they need to have some type of confirmation system that the photographer will show up. This app makes finding a photographer easy, but that does no good if you have to worry if they are going to show up.

Awesome App!
Hired a photographer recently for family pictures and there isn’t enough I can say about this App! The booking process was seamless and the photographer that showed up at my house was excellent. Our photographer, from “Judy Justin Photographers”, treated our session as if I booked her directly, but it was a fraction of the cost. She has been a professional for 20+ years and was extremely happy that she can pick up extra work with the PhotoSesh app. She even went out of her way to touch up the photos and created a slideshow at no extra cost! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Cheat company
Used me right away, got half to themselves, no evidence of a background check and app goes dead for my phone.

Just used PhotoSesh again for a team photo shoot for myself and my 12 agents. We had our photographer (who was simply amazing by the way!) for 3 hours and he took individual head shots and team pics. Our savings on this shoot alone had to be over $700 using PhotoSesh compared to the usual old school rates. Highly recommend!

Can't believe I didn't think of this
Have now used this app 4 or 5 times and it gets better every time.
Hired photographer for niece's 7th birthday party and the photographer was better than anyone I've ever used and he was a 1/4 of the price.
Requested him thru emailing the site but this time for a bachelor party and he came in with a completely different but still completely professional approach.
He was away shooting somewhere the other 3 times I booked a photographer but somehow the 3 other photographers were all just as amazing.
If PhotoSesh can keep these types of photographers and make it this easy and affordable to book them this app is going to explode.
I hope it stays top notch quality but everything about how they came out the gate leads me to believe they have all the kinks worked out already.
And On top of that I told my cousin(a photographer) about the app and he said he's picking up steady work that he never would have had.

Easy to book across the country
We have 14office locations in different parts of the country. I was able to book a photosesh for each location right from this app. Great prices. Great concierge support. Beats calling and negotiating with 14 different photographers in each area.
Very satisfied
Booked a photographer for a small get-together at my house because I didn't want to be bothered taking pictures during the party. I was more than satisfied at the rate I was charged, the pictures I received, and the professionalism of the company and the photographer that was provided. I will definitely use PhotoSesh again in the near future.

Fantastic App!!!
I recently used PhotoSesh for my engagement photos and it worked out perfectly. It was easy to use and above all extremely affordable. I had the photographer meet at the spot before my fiancé and I got there, and he captured the whole moment!!! The photos I got were priceless...I will definitely be using it again

Highly recommend!!!!
I used the app for the first time last week. Was able to request a professional photographer in 2 minutes and had the session booked in 10 mins. Our photographer was awesome! We did our shoot for 1.5hr and spent $75 for 50+ professional pics. The app itself was seamless. Very easy to specify what you want, and get the right person for the shoot. Also made it easy to communicate with our photographer before and leading up to our shoot. Payment was automatic. With a baby on the way, I will be using Photosesh for many upcoming events.

Highly recommend :) Finally an easy and affordable way to quickly find talented photographers! So excited to be in pictures from my parties and events. Having access to all my images and to be able to print various sizes is awesome! I cannot be more happy with this app - I will continue to use PhotoSesh again and again!!
