Such a lifesaver!

The most reliable app for transferring my photos! So happy I recommended it to my sister too!

Great app!

I work in creator marketing and it’s always such a pain to transfer content from my iphone to a windows device or hard drive. This app transfers so seamlessly between both devices! I no longer dread it when my phone flashes ‘storage full’ (okay maybe a bit of dread, but significantly less now).

Awesome app!

This app makes it so simple to transfer my videos off of my phone to free up space!

I would have given it 5 stars if it handled duplicate filenames better. Currently if there’s a duplicate file name, it doesn’t add a suffix, instead it just doesn’t transfer the file and it gives no indication that it wasn’t transferred.

Hopefully they fix this behaviour soon.

Great with premium

With premium its actually fun and convenient to use. Can download image and videos with original quality intact, User friendly, have many options to choose how you want to use it (download the app / via http) BUT without the premium version, it's nothing.

FAQ

What does PhotoSync do?

PhotoSync is a cross-platform application designed for transferring and backing up an unlimited number of photos and videos. It supports direct transfers between mobile devices, computers, NAS devices, and various cloud storage services, all while preserving full resolution and metadata.

What are the key features of PhotoSync?

Key features include cross-platform compatibility, unlimited full-resolution transfers with HEIC and RAW support, automatic file organization into folders, direct Wi-Fi transfers without internet, and backup options to NAS, cloud services, and local storage. Premium features offer autotransfer, client-side encryption, and advanced Siri support.

How much does PhotoSync cost?

The app offers a free version that allows you to test its transfer functionality, though transfers are in low quality and RAW/HEIC files are converted to JPEG. You can remove these limitations by purchasing PhotoSync Pro as a one-time in-app purchase.

What devices is PhotoSync compatible with?

PhotoSync has native apps for mobile devices (iOS and Android), as well as support for Windows and Mac computers. It also mentions compatibility with Linux and various NAS devices, cloud services, and photo platforms.

What are common use cases for PhotoSync?

Common use cases include backing up your entire photo and video library from your phone to your computer or NAS, transferring media between different mobile devices, and moving photos from cloud services to local storage or vice versa. It's ideal for users who want to manage their media library independently of cloud services like iCloud or iTunes.
