Best pizza in DFW. Amazing crust and unique toppings like prosciutto, dates, etc. yum!
Bait and switch
Planned to go to pie tap and looked at the menu. Their website offered 10% off first purchase. Then it required downloading this lame app. I downloaded but it would not take my email address. Then the app required online order to use coupon. Not valid for dine-in. What a bad way to run a business.

I received an email from Pie Tap inviting me to download app and receive a $10 coupon. It’s valid everywhere but Houston…disappointing.
Pizza was great!! Sweet tea not so much!
First time ordering from Pie Tap! The apps was easy to navigate. Although, when I ordered a pizza then added a drink and added 2 drinks it doubled the pizza order as well! I had to delete the 2 drinks and order only 1 drink then go back in and add another drink separately.
Pepperoni pizza was good, but it took almost an hour to be delivered! (Less than 2 miles away!) The drinks I ordered were 2 sweet teas. Both drinks were disgusting! They actually looked like it was the bottom of the canister, thick looking tea, that was not even sweet at all! $6 worth of non drinkable tea!
Next time I’ll pick up order and definitely NOT order the sweet! tea!

First time patron
I had the veggie, add marinara, rotisserie chicken, & caramelized onions and a frozé.
They left the pesto and lemon zest off chicken was dry and scarce, plus there was only a couple pieces of broccolini! The crust was the best part along with my chimichuri sauce & spicy banana peppers from home that added needed flavor & spice!!
I will dine in and give them a second try, the Chef in me can tell by this delicious dough that maybe my pizza was rushed..

Worthless
This app is completely non-functional. Will not allow me to create an account, just gives a vague message that says there “is a problem “ with the email address or password. I’m deleting and ordering from their competitor down the street.
Gift Cards
I think Pie Tap should allow you to add your gift cards on the mobile app. It defeats the purpose takeout if you want to pay with a gift card. 20minute waits for your food because i couldn’t use a gift card on the app >.<

Disappointed for the first time
We LOVE Y’all! Food is always great and service on point but I was didsapointed today.
First, my order said it would be ready at 3:12pm so I got there at 3:20pm as I wanted to grab immediately to pick up my daughter from school by 330pm. Well my order was sitting by the kitchen. No urgency by anyone to pack my food.
Got home my bread was missing that comes with my Carbonara. I had some chicken lollipops missing - one was strangely super tiny.
I didn't get it bc the place was dead, not busy at all. So sad that someone just could not take their time to make sure orders were right.

False advertisement
The website told me it is national app day and that I get $10 off if I create an account if I use the code pizzalover10. I don’t like giving my data out but I found it worth it for 25% off my meal. The code doesn’t work so I call the shop and they tell me that it is only for pizza. This is very frustrating because it didn’t say it was just for pizza. Wish they would be more transparent. Great pizza/pasta but when they start taking my data and I still don’t get the deal I’m a little annoyed.

Why does everything need an app
I was perfectly happy to order online, but their online ordering system wouldn’t accept payment — I tried multiple credit cards. I download their app, taking up more space on my phone with useless apps, and my payment method ~suddenly~ works perfectly. Stop making apps for everything, I promise I won’t order enough to make that worthwhile. It is, however, worthwhile to have an account saved online for pietap that I can easily order from without taking space on my phone.
