About
Piglet teaches you to read and write Hangul, the Korean alphabet, starting from zero.
It's genuinely learnable in about a week, and once it clicks, Korean stops looking like symbols and starts looking like words.
Most apps stop at flashcards. Piglet makes you write.
WRITE EVERY LETTER
Trace each character stroke by stroke and get scored on what you drew. Piglet checks the shape, the stroke order, and the direction of every line so a letter drawn backwards gets caught instead of quietly passing. Three sensitivity levels, from forgiving to strict.
THE WHOLE ALPHABET, IN ORDER
Twelve lessons across three levels:
• All 40 letters — basic, aspirated and tense consonants, and every vowel
• Syllable blocks — how letters stack into the shapes you actually read
• Batchim — why ㄱ sounds like "g" at the start of a syllable but "k" at the end
HEAR IT SPOKEN
Every letter and syllable is voiced. Consonants are taught the way Korean children learn them — as 가, 나, 다 — because a bare consonant has no sound on its own.
REVIEW THAT ADAPTS
Spaced repetition brings each character back right before you'd forget it. Letters you find hard come round more often. Letters you know get out of your way. Optional reminders tell you when reviews are due.
TRACK THE CLIMB
Day streak, characters mastered, overall accuracy, and a grid of all 40 letters showing exactly where you stand.
