Review
Was good - now awful
The app should stop making reviews mandatory
Pretty app but no show pickup
Poor customer service
Not able to register
Excellent Concept, poor QA, poor customer support
It’s unfortunate because I liked the concept so much that I setup weekly scheduled pickup. As my clothes have spent longer with them (being re-pressed) than in my closet, I’ve had enough so I cancelled and I’ll warn others that Piing will likely ignore your preferences so aren’t trust worthy.
What makes me write this review is that customer support has ignored my last 3 emails although they promised to call. While initial customer service was polite, ignoring emails and not addressing the matter is unprofessional. Customers beware.
Excellent! Just awesome!
App Crashes Frequently
Avoid at all costs
It had a care label attached and I added a special note in the Ping App to treat it with care.
When the skirt came back, it had been destroyed.
There are large, dark marks all over the skirt.
It appears to have been scorched all over by an iron that was too hot.
No-one from Ping called or emailed to inform me - I discovered the damage when the skirt was dropped off.
Three weeks on, I still have no answers as to how or why this happened.
Ping wanted to take the skirt back to repair the damage.
I was unconvinced, but allowed them to try.
The skirt was returned in the same condition and again, I wasn't called or emailed.
When I contacted Ping, I was informed the skirt hadn't actually been cleaned again - but rather had been taken to the laundry, sat there, then wrapped up and sent back. No-one could explain why.
Ping then took the skirt back for a third try and, although they managed to wash it this time, the damage remains.
Ping's customer service throughout this time has been absolutely appalling, to the extent that it would be amusing if it wasn't my clothing that had been damaged.
Every time I call Ping, I am assured they are taking the issue very seriously and someone will call me back.
Each time, I have to make multiple calls before someone with authority is able to speak with me.
Three weeks on, they have finally made a compensation offer - which is a credit to use with Ping.
This is laughable, as I will never trust Ping with my clothes again.
Mistakes happen, but the utter contempt with which Ping treats its customers is disgraceful.
I would give Ping 1 star if I could.
Service is good. App is bad.
Unprofessional schedule
Lots of glitches
If you click on add item on the bottom of the order screen, it closes the app, and you lose your order.
Would like to see it save all the settings like pick up at door and automatically populate regular order options by having everything prefilled:
Load and wash
Dry clean
Wash and iron
Good prices, though
Lost clothes
Always late
Cleaning service is terrible
My main issue and the reason why I will never use them again is because they are inconsistent and I’ve had to many dirty items returned to me as if they were clean.
I got a bed cover cleaned, it came back stinking of cigarettes (no one at home smokes) with stains and crumpled.
I’be also gotten dressed back that still smell worn and have more stains then when they were sent out.
Shows
You are not improving the app and service constantly in the way successful online businesses do.
Used to be ok. Now never on time
Good app that needs tweaks
Great concept, awful execution
Messages in the app are sometimes ambiguous (when I request a pickup and I'm told "it's time for Netflix") and sometimes misleading (I'm told cleaner x is available, but then I request and it starts searching for available cleaners). I've also had an array of cleaners call and cancel or cancel strait away.
Long story short, it's not clear to me that anyone who works on this app uses it regularly, because the UX flaws are that pervasive.
