Since this review, we’ve added a leveling system and a referral system so you can unlock more letters, avatars, and other rewards for free just by using the app. We’re still a small team and we’re working to make Piko more fun without putting everything behind a paywall. hey! thanks for the feedback 💙 everyone can read 3 letters for free, and the 4th can be unlocked by inviting a friend. we also just released a new update that lets active community members level up to unlock avatars and other profile customization without needing piko+. if you’re still having trouble accessing your free letters, send us an email at pikochatapp@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to look into it. we really appreciate you giving piko a try 🌱

thank you for giving piko a chance this early :) the “post blocked” + scrolling bugs came from a big influx of users while we’re barely two weeks old. we’ve already made things smoother and the next update should fix a lot of this. for now please close the app, wait 20-30 seconds, then reopen it. if it still happens, email us at [pikochatapp@gmail.com] so we can look into your account directly. really appreciate you reporting this.

thank you for the review! you’re right that the free experience needs to feel less locked down, and we’re already adjusting that. piko plus helps us keep the app running while we’re still a smal team, but we don’t want basic things to feel unfair or annoying. we are only 11 days into this app's release so things are still being in the works. more free customization are coming in the next update. really appreciate you being honest while still seeing the vision. please email is at pikochatapp@gmail.com for any more feedback we read and respond to it all.

bonjour, c’est totalement compréhensible. piko est sorti il y a seulement 11 jours, donc on ajuste encore l’équilibre entre gratuit et plus. la prochaine mise à jour aura beaucoup plus de choses gratuites, dont des options d’avatar/profil demandées par la communauté. on publie des mises à jour presque tous les jours et vos retours nous aident beaucoup :/ sorry for your experience. please email us at pikochatapp@gmail.com if you have other feedback
Really cute and fun!
Only gripes are not being able to change your profile picture(maybe allow to choose between some free ones?) and(BUG REPORT) while scrolling through piko posts on iphone 17, they start bugging out(jittering, jumping between posts chaotically) and oftentimes it just says “post blocked” and I’m not sure what that’s about? It happens on my iphone 17 but not my old SE 3rd gen, i can see the posts just fine with no bugs on that. super weird bug please fix!
But this app has so much potential and is only getting started, I cant wait to stick around and see how it develops! Thank you team so much for putting together such a great idea and executing beautifully

thank you so much!! yes, we definitely want to add more friend/chat features in the future. we wanted to start out with letters + pods first and make sure the community felt right, but direct chatting with friends is something we’ve been thinking about too :D really appreciate you being here early.
