Recognizes very few and extremely slow

Very disappointed, three pills that I put in exactly how it instructs you. in the system is extremely slow will not be using. I don’t not recommend. In 2024 this should be way ahead of times.

SO Helpful!!!

I have been on several medications over the years that are frequently changing/being added/being stopped. So I will at times find a pill that I can’t quite recall & this app has always been able to come through & identify it for me. It is always my go-to app when I need to figure out what something is. Thanks guys!!!

Very helpful identifying odd pills we have.

With helping my father and wife in managing their medications, this app has become very helpful to me.

Does not find ANY pill in databases

I tried simple pills like Wellbutrin and zanex just to see if it would identify them properly. Every search I put in was not found in the database. I don’t know what this app is for but it is definately NOT a pill identifier

Nothing found

I entered and re-entered the alphanumeric codes on my pills, inserting spaces as instructed: Not found. I deleted the spaces: Not found. I tried the codes on another prescription: Not found. Disappointed.

Never worked

Found pills in my mother’s possession that she could not identify. I tried, none of them were found. I tried a current med that has an active script and it still could not identify it.

Does not work

Put the pill number in with spaces between the numbers and with no spaces. Did not find the pill. But I googled it and it popped right up. So apparently the data in this program is outdated.

Too slow

Couldn't identify a pill that other apps did

Good idea, so-so execution.

Tested it with five pills I know and it found 2/5. Not impressive out of the gate. And yes I followed the tutorials and instructions.

UI assessment took a big hit because of the slow, ridiculous animated character. Some advice to the dev:

-Your target audience isn’t children. It is adults and older adults. Neither group finds an annoying animated character cute or instructive. They may find it condescending though.

-Your animated character runs like it was animated in 2005 flash. It loads slowly. The animation of it while loading is slow.

So you have a character that is at best, annoying, runs terribly slowly and the user is forced to deal with it at square 1, right out of the gate...and there appears to be no way around that - just when you should be putting your best foot forward.

I know I am just some guy on the internet, but I have worked on e-learning app design for the government, and you need to get an HCI person and run a focus group or two.

Focus on getting the app to work and save the kiddie interface for another app. There is a reason we no longer see the Microsoft Office little office assistant flying carpet mascot.

Horrible interface

This app doesn’t work. I tried a bunch of pills and it couldn’t I’d any of them. I watched tutorials too. Multiple times and still couldn’t I’d the pills.

Crummy app

Out of the 10 prescription meds we take, this app only found 4. Ridiculous! I’m deleting it.

Very helpful

I take several pills a day, prescribed or OTC. Sometimes they get all mixed together or I don’t need one do it just sits for awhile and I cannot remember what it is since the Rx doesn’t always give me the same brand or manufacturer. This app has never failed to help me identify it.

Mom’s Care in the nursing home

This app is GREAT! I use it quite frequently when they bring in Mom’s medicine and I see a pull that I don’t recognize. It’s a blessing to have this app on my phone! The other night, they had a Levothyroxine tablet in with her 9:00 bedtime meds of Tramadol, Tylenol, and Lorazepam. I took it out of her pill cup, and gave it to the med tech the next time I saw her. Mom takes the Levothyroxine at 6:00 in the morning, before she eats breakfast, not at bedtime.. thanks to this app I was able to catch their mistake!

Grateful

This app helped me to identify a pill that was on the ground that my two year old found. I wasn’t sure if he ate one and it was the quickest way for me to identify what it was. Thankfully it wasn’t one that was dangerous. This app helped me to get relief and I’m thankful that there is something out there like this to help in a scary situation like mine.

Pretty much useless

This app no longer identifies anything. At best, I get one result and it’s nothing remotely close to what I actually have.

More speed please.

I use this app each time I find a random pill around the house and also to define different pill manufacturers. Sometimes the manufacturer changes and at one time I was given an incorrect medicine at the pharmacy before. It’s always good to verify each time you’re given a renewed prescription. I love how you can have contact with a pharmacist too. App is a little slow with response, but it’s still a pretty good app.

Not for me

Couldn’t even find results if I entered the example used in the tutorial.
Tried to enter a 4 to see if it would work like in the tutorial. No results. Tried two other pills, after watching the tutorial. No results.

Jp

Very annoying. Insisted you take the tutorial before using the app.

Awfull reminds me of the Microsoft paper clip from the nineties

As an Ems member I was looking to do quick pill identifications and the app will not work in an emergency
