Pill Lens ID helps you compare an unknown pill using photos of both sides, color, shape, and the imprint printed on it. On-device text recognition suggests imprint text without uploading the photos. Confirm or correct that text, add color and shape, then search public openFDA drug-label records. Returned possible matches show their retrieval time and provide a DailyMed label or search link for source review. After confirming a pill with its original packaging or a qualified professional, save it to the Cabinet with a nickname, household label, private notes, and verification details. Photos, Cabinet records, and private notes stay on the device. Only confirmed imprint text is sent to openFDA when a search is started. Pill Lens ID provides possible label matches only. It does not identify a physical pill, diagnose, prescribe, recommend a dose or treatment, or tell anyone to take medication.
