Critical alerts
This is only one app I found that has critical alerts. I really like it because I used to miss my medication whenever my phone was on silent.

Can we get some more alarming alarm noises and at least a notification badge for $7??????

Thank you for your response! We are currently working on an update that will allow you to configure it. UPDATE: As of version 4.0 (January 18, 2026), we've added Critical Alerts support that bypasses Do Not Disturb, a sound selector with 15 attention-grabbing alarm options, and notification badges on the app icon. Please give the updated version a try, we'd love to hear your updated thoughts!
