Easy Setup

In need of features/early stages
Response from developer
Thank you for taking the time to write this β you found a real bug, not a missing feature. The reminder you set for 3 minutes genuinely never fired. A scheduling issue could silently cancel reminders shortly after they were created, and a separate timing bug affected reminders set only a few minutes ahead. Both are fixed in version 1.6.0. Two things in that update come directly from your review: β’ Photo confirmation β exactly the flow you described. Confirming a dose asks for a photo of the medication in your hand, and missed-dose reminders keep insisting until you confirm. It's in Settings βΊ Notifications (part of the premium features). β’ A "send a test notification" button, so you never have to create a fake medication just to check that reminders actually reach you. If you give Pillio another try after updating, I'd genuinely like to know whether it holds up for you.
Problem
Response from developer
Hi, and thank you for flagging this β you're right, and we're sorry the reminder let you down. We tracked down the cause: in some cases Pillio's daily reminders weren't rescheduling themselves for the following days unless the app was reopened. It's fixed in the next update (1.4.1): daily reminders now repeat reliably on their own, every day, even if you don't open the app. We're also adding a louder, alarm-style alert that can sound through Silent mode and Focus. Please update when 1.4.1 lands β and thank you for helping make Pillio better.
Alarm
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the confusion! You can set a reminder/alarm in Pillio: tap the blue + button in the center of the bottom bar, add your medication, and choose its reminder time(s) under "Schedule" β Pillio then notifies you at those times (just make sure notifications are allowed, or turn them on in Settings β Notification Settings). You were right that this wasn't obvious. Our next update makes it much clearer where to set your reminders, and adds Dark Mode and full accessibility support (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type). A dedicated iPad layout is on the way too. Thanks for helping us improve!
Not free
Response from developer
Thanks for reaching out! Pillio offers a free version with core features and a premium option for advanced tracking. We aim to provide valuable tools for medication management.
Useless for Post-Op Pain Management
I had two simple over the counter drugs programmed. Tylenol 1 g every 6 hours, ibuprofen 600 mg every 8 hours. The times it calculated were wrong in that it would skip overnight doses, which defeats the purpose.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you appreciate the simple interface. We've looked into the overnight alert issue you experienced and believe it has been fixed in our latest update. We hope this resolves the problem and improves your experience with Pillio.
Annoying
