Audio reviews don’t work

The course is fantastic and the app works pretty well except for the fact that none of the
audio review files work. So, I have to carry around my open laptop to listen to these rather than use the app.

I never write reviews for apps but wanted to write a review so people don’t fall into the same trap I did when I first heard about this app. Given some of the other negative reviews I was discouraged to try it but have since began using it and find it runs a lot smoother on my iPad than running the online version of the course. I did the whole online version for my PPL and it was good but the quizzes specifically could take a while to load. The app does it so quickly and a lot of the issues that people seem to have originally struggled with seem to have been improved by the developer (see the dev responses for a lot of the 1 star reviews). Anyway, I hope this encourages people to give it a try again since I think it’s come a long way since it was originally being reviewed and used.

Great course and app. Not as buggy as some people claim.

The app is fine. I am 34% through the PPL, and I also bought IFR, G1000, and radio communications. Good clear, easy to follow instructions, videos, examples, scenarios, exams, etc. No complaints.

App is buggy and unusable

Won’t play videos in app or reliable access downloads. Content is good for the most part but do not plan on relying on the app for access.

Just doesn’t work well

The quizzes don’t work for me most of the time. I continue to get refresh page messages and nothing I can do fixes it.

Utterly useless app!

Apparently, they spend all their time and money on YouTube. This app is such garbage that you cannot even log in!!!

Fix the glitches and video loading

This app has lots of bug it glitches and it never loads the video if they fix this issue then it would be great but now it doesn’t deserve more than one star.

Horrible app

What a joke of an app. Horrible performance and I have to click through hundreds of videos to download them for offline user.

Can’t login

Was hoping to access my course through this app so I could learn through my iPad instead of using a browser but the login button doesn’t work. Can’t access my courses, app is basically pointless.

Crashing

This app tends to crash a lot when trying to view by “chapters” and will crash almost immediately when you try to download a lesson or offload an already viewed lesson. If this were fixed, I would have no issue with the app.

So disappointed

So many bugs and issues, not just with the app but with the course. The app seems to only work in portrait mode. How does that make sense when watching videos? Then I have commented how in at least one of their videos they have the wrong video for the lesson or how they have an error in one of their videos. All I get is a “we’re looking into it”. And now I see no way to download the videos offline (for flying maneuvers course) which I was told we can when buying the course and it shows in the app picture. The flash card app is a separate and literally can’t event shuffle or do anything with the cards. Just scroll left and right. Honestly, I’m pretty disappointed.

We've updated the app to work in horizontal mode on iPads. Thanks for your feedback on the rest. I'm passing this on to the team. We updated a few lessons in the maneuvers class that had the wrong video in a section. The flashcard is no longer being supported. Flashcards can be taken directly in https://quizbank.ai/ after completing a topic.

App crashes every 20 minutes

It’s a decent app, but it crashes every 20 minutes or so.

Good but….

I think it’s good and if more people used it we would get more support
It’s just you can’t download the next chapters videos to use offline because you can’t move on without doing the quiz but I have a roadtrip with no WiFi coming up so I’m limited to the one chapter I’m on because it doesn’t even give me the option to download a temporarily locked version of the other chapters videos so if that was changed it would be nice
