Not a logbook
This is pilot social media for influencers. Not an actual logbook. So disappointing to me since I love log booking. But I guess this is what the people want these days. The low review isn’t because it’s a bad app, it’s because it’s marketed as one thing and I could figure out a way to use it for the function it advertised

Fantastic platform for both utility and community
Pilot Life has been a great addition to my folder of aviation-specific apps: so easy to record my hours (and the automatically created logbook report is awesome) as well as attach associated pictures/videos of memorable flights which even get accounted for along the automatic track-log. I like to think of it as my digital flying scrapbook that also lets me connect with other pilots: being able to see where other people are flying is also super cool, so unique that there’s pilots from all over the world using it!

Maybe in time with improvements
Troublesome to navigate a simple app. Things that should be readily accessible, hard to find.
Reports porly formatted for printing.
Tried to follow instructions ie import track from foreflight, did not work.
Will not be continuing to use or renew.

It’s amazing app which is easy to use, just some functions will make it perfect !
I like how does this app tracking time, it’s astonishing easy to manipulate which makes me no need to calculate how much time I flew !

And here are the advices you were looking for after I use this app, I believe it would made it perfect
1) the app is not support for off line operation! For most of part 121/135 operation cell phone are required to turn to flight mode. When device is not connect to internet, I couldn’t load the aircraft from my “hanger” for my new flight. And the flight will disappear momentarily after flight terminated before connected to internet, that feel so insecure making me wonder if I still have that record or not. I have to connect to internet to see it again
2) not sure if the logbook data is save in our phone or online servers. But I would prefer if we are able to make a backup to where ever we want like cloud or hard drives. Pilots always have redundancies 😛
3) just like another user commented, if we could import our existed TT into this app will be awesome so I don’t need to type everything again
But still, this is a good app and fun for me, highly recommended and will refer to others pilot as much as possible 👍

A great pilot app
Here I can record my flights and share my passion with a lot of aviation enthusiasts, it’s a great app to save your flights and great memories in the sky.
Love It but Hopeful
I love the idea of this app, and I can’t find another like it. However, I do wish that there was a way you could record airports that you flew to during your flight instead of just a departure and arrival airport (which is usually just the same airport for me). It would also be really cool if this app could somehow implement FlightAware for past flights and tracking. I’d love so see changes so that I could use this app more!!

Amazing app for keeping records and digital records of flying

Just what I wanted!
None of the digital log books I’ve used so far has any way of properly tracking HOBBS. I’ve had to input it manually in description in LogTen and it doesn’t count towards the time.
A couple of minor recommendations…
Add an option to label an aircraft as simulator and NOT have to count towards your HOBBS time. Adding in my FTD times have resulted in my Dual time to bloat.
Time up & down would be handy but not required. That can be added to the description of the flight.
Have fields inside hangar aircraft to store W&B info, along with other notes like ELT/Compass/Avionics/etc recerts.
Otherwise, this thing is so cool! Much MUCH better than having to pay for Foreflight or fiddle with LogTen.

Its amazing! Just a few things to make it 5 stars
The app is amazing! Its a fun way to log hours and even add pictures and videos to the flight logs! The only 2 things ive noticed are:
1) its still a little buggy, nothing mayor or annoying, but still a few bugs here and there
2) it lacks a way to “import” or add previous flight hours for it to be a reliable digital log replacement for my paper log, if that option gets added (at least a “previous hours logged” like the TT at the end of the log book page to keep adding up TT in the app) it will be worthy of a 5 star review!

Logging in STYLE😍
I absolutely love this app. It’s quite easy to start and stop your flight timer, edit flight conditions, add photos/videos, and post your flight in a memorable way!!! It’s also a great way to visually see your friends flight activity as well.
Great app to track your flights and share with the GA community
There are other digital logbook solutions out there but I like that Pilot Life is built around sharing each flight and journey with the rest of the aviation community and being able to see what all my pilot friends are up to.

Very engaging and makes logging fun!
The app makes logging time super convenient due to its automation! But what I like most about it is it makes logging time so much fun, you can add pictures and videos and engage with other people and the adventures that they have! 10/10!! It’s a great product!!
Why use a paper log ever again?
Really impressive electronic logbook. Allows you to look back on old flights and remember them via photos/videos. Also intriguing to see other pilots in the community and what they do on their flights
What a cool take on the logbook!
I love flying and I love sharing my photos from the sky. Pilot Life lets me do both! I love that I can go back and relive my flights, especially the geotagged photos. Can't wait to see the new features to come from this innovative app!
