È una bellissima applicazione molto ricca di informazioni, ma all’apertura la geolocalizzazione non funziona e devo cercarla io per trovare il mio territorio (Italia). Inoltre le durate dei voli sono sempre completamente sbagliate. Insomma, occorrono diversi aggiornamenti per renderla sempre più performante al pari di altre applicazioni di flight tracking. Grazie mille e buon lavoro!

Update spoiled trips

No longer to import trips from LIDO or paste in any other way. Format not recognised. Used to work. Please fix.

Thanks for flagging this, Brian — you're right, and pasting/importing flight plans (including LIDO) is meant to work, so we're treating this as a regression. If you could email a sample of the LIDO string you're pasting to support@pilotsatlas.com, it lets us reproduce it exactly and get a fix into the next update. Sorry for the disruption to your trips.

App in crash

Ho acquistato la versione Europa e Nord America. Il mio iOS è aggiornato, ma l’app continua a crashare dopo un secondo dall’apertura. Ho provato a disinstallarla e re-installarla più volte. Nulla. Soldi buttati.

Könnte, ist aber nicht

Vor 20 Jahren hatten wir alle die Papierform im Koffer…
Die elektronische Form lässt mehr als zu wünschen übrig. APP stürzt beim zoomen ab. Reproduzierbar!
POI wird langsam besser..
allerdings hat Jeppesen mit dem letzten Update mächtig aufgeholt.
Und wie in Rezessionen vor 11 J geschrieben, Landsteile werden in lokaler Sprache beschrieben. Siehe China. Wie kann man da eine Durchsage machen. ?
Inzwischen benutzen einige Kollegen Maps.me.
Also für den Preis, sollte es auch funktionieren.

Der reproduzierbare Absturz beim Zoomen liegt an der Kartendarstellung — dafür haben wir eine gezielte Korrektur, die in einem der nächsten Updates ausgerollt wird. Ihren Punkt zu Ländernamen in Landessprache (z. B. China) nehmen wir ernst; für Funksprüche muss das eindeutig sein. Und ja — für den Preis muss es funktionieren, da haben Sie recht. I downloaded, purchased a atlas pack for Asia and it’s just crashing continuously! Earlier I had purchased for the world too. Feeling of wasted money!

Nicht vergleichbar mit der Papierversion

Ich hatte mal einen offline Atlas von National Geografic, der war echt gut, weil er offline funktionierte und auch viele Details besaß. Leider sind die ganzen online tools nicht wirklich nutzbar im Flug. Somit haben sie auch nicht viel wert.

Vielen Dank für das Feedback. Die App ist stetig in Entwicklung und Feedback ist sehr willkommen. In der Zwischenzeit ist auch einiges passiert, der eine oder andere angesprochene Punkt hat sich weiter entwickelt.

Waste of Money. Very expensive

All the downloaded content disappeared. And the restore functions disappeared. Now especially with Jep FD these days and the VFR chart, this is of not much use.
Please help me the restore. I have already spent more that $100 on this app. And it has disappeared

Stopped working

Stopped working after most recent update. Screen freezes at cloud features splash screen.

Your purchased features are fully supported and maintained. Maybe you disabled them and see the newly developed map only. Please go to the Store-Tab in the app and tap an "Show ClassicMap". This toggles the MainTabBar-Icon to access the old ClassicMap.

Has become useless recently, money grabbing and buggy

I bought this very expensive app so that I could have a Worldwide flight atlas to use offline in the cockpit. They have now brought out new mapping that is a new very expensive subscription based system with mapping files so ridiculously large that I can only fit individual parts of the World on my iPad so of no use to me.

Every time I open the app now to use the classic mapping it hassles me to buy the subscription I don’t want. I already paid a lot of money and don’t want to pay a subscription as well to have 300GB of files on my iPad.

I have no idea why the files are so big but only have a need for simple mapping for use when I am flying. The App is for pilots who need offline mapping - we do not have super high speed internet whilst in the aircraft! The developers are totally clueless about their customer base. No means no so stop asking me to buy the subscription - I already paid for offline maps.

Will cut my losses and delete this app. Money wasted. And what the hell is Vector mapping?

Database incomplete

This app is really amazing but it lacks basic features (route entry with airways, translucent wax overlay, device adapted UI, ...). Although the database is quite extensive, it’s not the most recent and major airports are missing. GOBD international airport opened in Dec 2017 and is not yet available. Nevertheless I used it on all my flights!
