Ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack
Endlich eine App die simpel ist. Nutze sie auf Reisen mit dem Camper. So kann ich nachträglich sehen wo ich überall schon war. Simpel deswegen weil kein unnötiger Schnickschnack wie bei anderen Apps. Man setzt seinen Pin, macht sich seine Notizen, bewertet und fertig.

The Developer Valgy quite obviously does not give a damn about its customers nor does it listen to feedback!!
My business involves calling on properties to meet customers and deliver goods. Three fellow colleagues and myself used the original Pin the World app to : locate/pin/call on these properties for 10 years. Frankly for this purpose, Pin the World and Pin the World 2 works brilliantly. Between the 4 of us, we had approx 100,000 pins(25,000 man hours)for ongoing use, as our customers renew and need re visiting every 5-7 years.
All of a sudden 28/03/23, nothing!!!! You try to load up your pins by turning the app on and nothing happens. No option to transfer data to the new app, not even at a cost ££ - which we would all happily pay btw.
But most importantly no WARNING that your valuable data will be gone. Given warning, the new app would have been purchased, all data would be saved and transferred either online or manually. SIMPLE COMMUNICATION, is that too much to ask of a customer? Also, re feedback, who in their right mind decided to put the three icon tool bar in the bottom right corner?? Anyone who uses this app will tell you that whenever you are now finding and placing a new pin, you constantly touch the ‘Around me blue Icon man’ accidentally and you are very annoyingly returned to ‘Around me’ Blue dot home position. Everyone using this app will cradle their phone with their fingers and navigate with their thumbs - as we do when texting - the Around me button is now directly under your right thumb and constantly gets mistakenly touched. Put it back where it originally was, top left or right corners or make it a 2 second tap to activate. My business is successful ONLY because I 100% listen to customer feedback to improve my business 🤔
I have also emailed you direct Mr Claudio Valgimigli, but as I did not receive a response, I thought that this might better get your attention.

Brilliant App!
It’s so good to see the updated version return. Easy to use and a fantastic way to categorise and see location and information.

Bin super zufrieden. Gut erklärt und eine einfache Bedienung. Schön wäre wenn man die Pins in Emojis umwandeln könnte. Dann gibt es auch den letzten Stern.
Extremely Underrated App
I had the first version of this app and also got this second version when it came out. I had no issues transferring my hundreds of pins. I use this app almost more than any other and could not be happier with it. I have searched for others that do the same thing but you won’t find a better one that has the option to use satellite/hybrid maps, save unlimited pins with a one time payment, categorize pins (with colors), and share your pins. I was confused on how to share my pins so I contacted the developer and got a very helpful response within 2 days. If you’re ever confused on how to do something, just ask.

No import, no response from developer
So worthless....
Import??
I’ve used the original app and love it. I bought Pin 2 and it does NOT import the old pins as advertised. I absolutely cannot figure out how to ‘open’ the CSC file in the app as you say. So how is it done?
Doesn't import from Original
I love the original version. I have over 300 pins in various categories based on how I visited each location. I bought the second one thinking it was going to be an improvement over the first. It probably works ok, but it does not automatically import your previous pins, and no matter how I try to import, it just gets stuck in a Save/Discard screen. There are no instructions, and the link to the developers site only lists the Original, and has no directions on how to update. I deleted the app, and will stick with the original.

Importing pin color question
I was excited to download the new version as i use this app on a regular basis. When trying to import pins, the colors were all white! Is there a way to import them using the same color format and not having to change the colors manually?
