About

Turn the map into your personal archive of places and memories. With Pin the World 3, you can save a point from your current location, the center of the map, coordinates, or by searching for an address or place anywhere in the world. ORGANIZE YOUR WORLD • Create categories with custom colors, shapes, and symbols. • Let pins inherit their category style or customize individual pins. • Add favorites, ratings, notes, and multiple visits to the same place. • Find what you need with filters for city, country, category, rating, and date. KEEP YOUR MEMORIES • Attach photos, videos, files, links, and notes. • Record audio in the app and play it back whenever you want. • Keep the complete address and coordinates with each place. TRIPS AND ROUTES • Use trips to collect places, dates, and notes. • Use routes to arrange ordered stops and prepare navigation. • Show trips and routes on the map and export GPX itineraries. YOUR DATA, UNDER YOUR CONTROL The archive is local-first and works offline. When iCloud is available, synchronization uses only your account’s private CloudKit database. No registration is required, and there are no ads, analytics, or tracking systems. Share a pin as text or in the Pin the World 3 format, export your complete archive, and import migrations prepared by earlier versions. The free plan includes up to 10 pins. The full version unlocks unlimited pins with one permanent purchase and no subscription.

What's New in Pin the World 3

1.3

August 29, 2026

List the pins nearest to you, and choose whether overlapping pins group. • New “Nearby pins” entry: your pins ordered by distance, each showing how far it is. No radius to set. • The map menu lets you turn grouping off: every pin stays where it is, even when they overlap. Tapping a spot with several pins opens the list, so none of them stays hidden. • The map style — standard, hybrid, satellite — is now remembered between launches. • Fixed: when importing from an earlier version, the option to use classic pins now works even if you had already imported the same archive.
