Best travel map companion
I used Pin The World from the beginning on. Version 3 has now an up to date user interface and says good bye to the rustic charm of the previous versions.
It supports all I need to organize my upcoming travels with KML/KMZ import and nicely view all where I have been in the last years.
Everything can be organized in categories, travels, visits with photos and notes.
Important for me was the appearance with small, slim pins which are not flooding the map like many other map apps do.
A fluent map animation with 3D buildings, showing my current position with compass indicator and direct link to Google Maps and Steetview make it my favorite travel companion app.
Claudio is the perfect app developer; very responsive and immediately makes ideas happen in a new update
