Pinata removed all my 700+ points accrued without warning. Their updated terms says points expire 12 months if no activity yet they removed everything for being a free member less than a month after the updated terms. This violates the contract, so if this also happened to you, make sure you file a report with your Attorney General!

Awesome renter app
This app is awesome, you earn points for completing your obligation of paying rent early!! Also, you can earn points in the app by completing tasks, inviting friends, etc! I just used 700 points on a milk frother that is AMAZING, it was free😍 just Amazing!

I love Piñata! Not only do you receive points you can spend for paying rent, it also reports to your credit and it really does help! I will admit, I was skeptical at first because I didn’t have positive experiences with other places that do but this one is definitely worth it!

I didn’t think I’d enjoy using Piñata, but I was surely mistaken. This has been the most positive experience I’ve had as a renter and to earn points for “being timely” and taking advantage of the featured brands available within the app have been a plus! I use the Regal movie perk frequently. Also, love the selection of items to choose from, especially during the items of the week and the hidden product of the month. S.N. items go quickly so if you have the points, select your gift pronto! You receive your gifts quickly too. Also, they could utilize their push notifications more. I rarely see their emails and barely see notifications even if it’s turned on. Love the app though.

I honestly love this app. It’s super easy to use, helps me keep track of my credit score, reports my rent to all the major credit bureaus, and I even earn points just for paying my rent. I mean, you’re paying rent anyway, so why not get rewarded for it? Definitely recommend!

I’ve been using Pinata for a couple years now through my apartment management, and I enjoy the giveaways as well as the wide variety of rewards. I do wish I had a better notification of when new rewards dropped because I always seem to miss the good stuff. I would recommend recommending taking advantage of it if you were apartment management offers the program.

I have loved using the Pinata app! Being able to save up a bunch of the points and then redeem them and enter to win free Rent has been amazing. I’ve gotten Ulta gift cards from them and been able to get amazing deals on other products that I use I am obsessed.
