Superior - Unparalleled - Best World Travel App
I have used this in the US and Europe. It’s incredibly easy and very accurate. Mark the items you want to see, open the app, and find your way. I like to color code - restaurants, top sites, second-maybe-see sites, etc. More than once I’ve looked at this site and found that I was super close to a point of interest and didn’t even realize it! I’ve recommended this to many other happy travelers. I know that Google Maps is popular but this is far far better.

iCloud backup provisions?
I have loved this app for several years. Thousands of pins saved from jobs done to travel locations to best restaurants along with notes and photos on practically all of them.
I recently started having problems with my iphone which was backed up to iCloud every night. Once I restored my new phone from iCloud, I noticed that there was no provisions in either the pinbox app to restore from a backup, nor does the iCloud settings show the app as linkable to iCloud.
In FAQ:
“How do I backup my Pinbox data?
Your Pinbox data is automatically backed up whenever you backup your iOS device to iCloud or to your computer (through iTunes). If your device were to ever get lost or broken, your Pinbox data would be available on your new device as long as you set up your new device by restoring from backup.”
I’ve sent two emails to the Developer with no reply yet. Will update this review once they reply.
Summary, the app is great, but hopefully we get this backup situation worked out, I would hate to lose at least 10 years worth of diligent notetaking.

Why can’t you update the app so that I can also have landscape view rather than just be able to see the map one way ??? Also posting inaccurate names, it’s and it will always be the Gulf of MEXICO
Renaming Maps
Hello! I love this app!! However, I have one suggestion:
Please include in a future update the ability to rename individual maps. You can rename the pins, but you can’t rename the maps.

This is an incredible app. I use it to keep track of accounts that I visit for my job please please please please please add the ability to import pins from a csv.

Simple and helpful
I’ve had this app for years. At least 6. I do a fair share of traveling and I mark every point of interest. Visiting family out of town is an easy example, we do this regularly. I mark every restaurant we go to with pictures. Makes finding them again super easy. Plus it’s just cool to see the places I’ve been. There’s not a lot to it which is actually nice. It’s easy to use.

I originally downloaded it as a tool to help with my family’s cross country relocation, and Disney!!
I out it on the shelf for a couple years, and then had to dust it off when I got a job that requires me to travel to people’s homes throughout the county!
It helps me plan my day, to see where I am in relation to each stop/the office/hospitals/gas stations with the best prices, etc…!!!

Pointless App
Pointless app for pointless people
Nice simple app, missing 1 feature
It’s a nice simple map pinning app. I like that there’s no social media requirement to it. I would like, however, to be able to search my notes, say for all the Indian restaurants I’ve marked or all the apartments I visited on whatever date I’ve noted.
Just what I need
I’ve been searching for over an hour for the perfect app and finally found this one. It’s just what I need. Thank you! One suggestion- please, please add more color options for the pins! I would love about 15 different colors.
No Filtering??
Is there seriously no filtering by pin color? What is the point. A surprising lack of features and is merely an app where you can place pins and not organize them in any meaningful way.

Still awesome after many years
I’ve been using this app for many years and can’t believe I haven’t added a review. This has been the most helpful app to pinning multiple locations in a city especially if you are a route driver.
I would love to see maybe an update to be able to copy holding over the location of an address as opposed to having to text message and copy from there, sometimes all I need is the address and not everything else.
