App very poor
App keeps crashing leaving techs on idle ,too many steps just to clock on to a line, can only load one video per job card, so many updates yet no improvement and explanation of what was fixed or not fixed, can’t login on desk top app and app for vhc video upload

Does anyone check this software before they roll out an update? Every update done, the system gets worse I don’t know how you manage it

What a cack handed, useless, badly thought out load of rubbish, made by people who have no idea how a workshop runs. This is supposed to save time, but it wastes it. Had low expectations after reading the reviews but it’s worse than I thought. If you were productive in the workshop before using this, you won’t be anymore.

Have to remove gloves to do finger print access each time I logging in to app , so gloves ended in the bin ,

I love this app. I don’t know why it gets so much hate. I missed the birth of my first child, just so I could have a play about with all the cool settings it has.

Pinewood isn’t good or reliable
Been using Pinewood for nearly 4 years & it seems like it was made by someone who doesn’t understand or been near a workshop coupled by it being very unreliable with constant crashes, even though there are regular updates that rarely improve it at all
Horrid
I have had to use this app for work purposes . I cannot stress how bad this is. Slows my work down always stopping working kicking me off the app during use, and closing down causing me to start my health check all over again. Managers chasing techs for efficiency and productivity and then expect you to use this useless slow app.

Wastes so much time!
Constantly kicked out, always crashing, especially when processing videos. If recorded through the app they disappear and need to be redone, which means doing them all over again, in various states, for the same thing to happen over and over again. Can’t wait for my work to begin using something more reliable. I’m spending more time at the tablet than I am with the car!

Great for wasting time
App takes so long to do anything, so many unnecessary screens, no customisation option. Just awful.
Unreliable and costs techs time and money
Continually crashes when uploading videos, freezes half way through a health check causing you to loose all day and have to start again. Menu pricing now not working so everything has done be done manually. Blamed on hardware and broadband bandwidth but the reality is the app is not fit for purpose.

Doesn’t seem to improve
The app has had many updates the whole time I been using it (4 years) but never actually seems to improve. It’s very slow when changing between jobs etc it takes too long and wastes time especially if your going to clock to authorise idle to help someone quickly. Also need a way to see old health checks from a technician use of the app and be able to view other jobs without having to clock off the one your working on. Apart from that the app works well tbh one little thing that would be a good idea is to have a option to fill in a reason why you clocked on to authorised idle so the workshop control etc can see it instead of having to tell them each time.

This app isnt worth the space it takes up, unfortunately i have no option but to use it for my job. Given the choice id move to an app which actually works
