PinShot is a GPS track recorder and media geotagging tool built for photography, travel, and everyday location logging.
Start GPS recording before you shoot. Later, PinShot can match photos, Live Photos, and videos captured during the recording period with your GPS track, then write location metadata back to the media files so they appear correctly on the map.

Before you start:
PinShot needs GPS logs first. It can only geotag media captured during an active recording period. Capture time must be accurate; if a photo or video has an incorrect timestamp, or if it was captured outside the GPS recording period, PinShot may not be able to match the correct location. Older media without matching GPS logs cannot be recovered automatically.
Supported formats:
Photos: JPEG, HEIC, HEIF, DNG, TIFF, and PNG. Videos: MP4, MOV, and M4V containers, including common H.264 and HEVC/H.265 video. Proprietary camera RAW formats such as CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, and RW2 are not modified directly. Unsupported files are skipped safely and will not be changed or damaged.
Privacy:
Location data is stored locally by default. PinShot does not operate a tracking server, does not include ad SDKs, and does not sell or share your location data with third parties. Optional iCloud sync writes only to your personal Apple iCloud storage.
