Erases your device config
I connected a project panel to this app only to find that my config and any other presets are gone. There are now 20 non-functional presets on the device and wled is unresponsive. Avoid.
Great when it works, but seems to have network issues
I recently finished a 16x16 WLED matrix display and searched for ways to include more than just stock effects. This seemed like a great source. The WLED instance was promptly found (even without alpha FW), but the main issue currently (20th Jan 2026) is that the pixelart preview takes ages to show in the app. Without preview, the art cannot be send to WLED instance.
I would be more than happy to buy a license, but not if the app does not properly work. Maybe it will be resolved in the coming days, I will then edit this review. Until then: when the preview loads in the app, it works great.

Geht nicht
Ich habe die WLED Firmware auf meinem ESP installiert, Pipplee erkennt es nicht. Laut Handbuch soll man dann die 0.16 Alpha Version nehmen, habe ich auch installiert, Pipplee erkennt es nicht. In der Info.json steht sauber drin: 'matrix":{"w":8,"h":8}'
Works great but wish it had support for custom aspect ratios
Upgraded my controller to 0.16 alpha and I’m able to have the animations how up on my curtain lights, but all the animations are for the square matrix panels so my wide garage door curtain lights matrix just has multiple tiles of the same animation. It would be great to have wider multi panel animations that would take up the whole matrix

Besonders toll ist die Playlist-Funktion. Tipp: Wenn man die Playlist auch nach einem Boot noch haben will, kann im Web-Interface der Leuchte diese auch so konfigurieren, dass diese dauerhaft gespeichert wird.
