Illegible fonts + anti-experiments = puzzling misstep
I love Conceptis games, but this one aimed for kids and pay-to-play mechanics is a solid FAILURE for this previously-great company. Unfortunately like others have said, penalizing your target audience for experimentation and/or not “picture-perfect hand-eye coordination” means your kids (and we adults) will put this game down quicker than you can say, “I’ll go back to their similar and MUCH MORE FORGIVING titles of Pic-a-Pix or Link-a-Pix. Even the skinny-line block-style fonts will have anyone on their 5” screen-size phones ready to trash this game because you can’t tell if any illegible numeral is a 2, 3, 4, a question-mark, or a currency symbol. And yet thus really shouldn’t surprise me because font readability has been a continual oversight for years, such as “Sum Sudoku” has 3-pixel-high numbers, or “Link-a-Pix” often having tiny yellow numbers against a white background. And all of this leads to the common thread here that ANY mistakes by the player equates to lower score, running out of times/moves, and eventually costing real money because of THIS 1 APP’s focus to make money not upon friendly appeal and good design, but rather punishment via their own unrealistic expectations upon an imperfect gamer. My message to Conceptis is to stick to brain-games and making profit by sticking to good puzzles, rather than wade into the greed-stained depths of loot-boxes & micro-transactions.😓

LOVE it but
I agree that the owl is totally annoying but mostly I want to know WHEN WILL THERE BE MORE LEVELS??? Thank you
Gets challenging
I know others struggled with this being so different to other Conceptis games, and as someone who has them all I understand. However, after a couple of level groups it does start to get really challenging. Especially if you’re someone who likes to 3-star everything.
I quite liked the timer mechanic that meant you effectively couldn’t make any mistake to get full points.
I didn’t find the colours etc distracting, and the daily rewards gave more than enough to be able to complete it. It did end up a little same-y, but ultimately misrepresented in the other reviews.

Simplified Block-a-Pix, annoying sounds and animations
Perhaps this is the developer’s first foray into the children’s market, so I am not the target audience. but it looks and plays nothing like any other Conceptis game.
The idea of solving just a small chunk of the picture over 20 or 30 “rounds” is interesting, but ultimately too easy. Maybe it gets harder later on, but I gave up after completing the second “painting”.
I also did not like all the animation between rounds. It took longer to display the animation and changes to score, than it did for me to solve the chunk. There are options to turn off sound effects and music, but you still have to sit through the animations. After the first dozen or so times, the animation has outstayed its welcome.
I don’t really know what the developer is going for in this implementation, but I prefer the thoughtful relaxing games they are already known for, versus games with goofy animation and sound effects, where you are penalized for making a mistake or running out of time.
I love Conceptis’s other games, but this one is a “delete app”.

Rude owl
i really want to enjoy the game but the owl keeps judging me while I play
Why?????
There’s a zillion apps out there that are covered in ads and nickel and dime you over everything: clues, an extra few minutes of play, whatever. I have every other game by Conceptis specifically because they don’t use that model — every other conceptis app has a very reasonable model where you get a certain number of free puzzles, and if you want more you pay for more. No ads, no gimmicks, no surprises. It’s a great model! It works! And then there’s whatever this is. M
Thanks, I hate it.
(Not because it has cutesy features that seem to be aimed at a younger audience. That’s fine. Because I don’t need a puzzle app tracking private information, and I certainly don’t need an app where the amount of money you can spend on in-app purchases has no upper bound, which seems to be the case here.)

Neat logic puzzle
I have been doing Conceptis puzzles for decades now and this type of puzzle is new to me...been having a lot of fun learning new strategies. Nice challenge!!!
Lovely!
Folks need to stop whining. It’s a lovely game, they clearly put a lot of work into it and of course it’s aiming for a different audience than their usual crowd, but that’s ok. Love the bird. And you don’t run out of paint unless you mark the wrong square. But you shouldn’t be guessing with these puzzles anyways.

Tedious, overlong tutorial with annoying sounds and no mute button
What an awful release by an otherwise wonderful developer
👎🏻
Please stick to your classic apps
Too frustrating for adults.
Definitely not for young kids. Too many bombs, owl gets annoying. Money spent just to advance in the game. I do like the pictures though. Beware, you can ask for a paint hint and get nothing, waisting diamonds.
great idea but
couldn’t get to challenging levels. hope you create same with adults in mind. love all your app, so disappointed that this basically for young children.
Fun but haters gonna hate
Love this game especially when I've played through all the weekly releases of all the other Conceptis games. Yes, it's cutesy and it took a while to get to the challenging levels but it's a great game! This is the kind of game that will get my young son into logic style puzzles. Thank you, Conceptis!

Crap game
I’m disappointed in you, Conceptis.
Random time limits, annoying music, and limited moves that all make my anxiety rise everytime I started a level. Uninstalled.

Get any other Conceptis game but this one
tl;dr - Don’t get this cynical cash grab; get a different Conceptis game and make in game purchases of extra puzzles to reward better app making.
Imagine block-a-pix but only being allowed to solve a tiny bit at a time, say up to ten blocks. You have a limited number of moves to do it. After that you get fruit machine style flashing lights and sounds to attempt to get you addicted. Every few puzzles instead of penalising mistakes it throws in a timer to complete the puzzle.
There are also lives and other gimmicks you can buy with jewels. Jewels of course cost real money - a day’s infinite lives is just under £10.
Once you have solved way too many little puzzles, they fit together to make a big one. Something else probably happens after that, but I ran out of interest.
This isn’t much of a puzzle game, just an attempt to extract cash from you. Conceptis have made a lot of very good puzzle games - get one of those and buy some additional puzzles; don’t buy anything on this cynical waste of bandwidth.
About to delete.

Don’t Bother
If you love Conceptis puzzles you will hate this. It’s everything that’s wrong with everyone else’s puzzles. If Conceptis has their heart set on going in this direction, they should have done it under a new name so as not to taint the Conceptis brand.
Tries your patience
This game is clearly aimed at young children, as anyone who is over the age of 14 and/or familiar with their other logic games will find this app tedious and cloying. I love Conceptis and have for more than 25 years, so they’re entitled to a “miss” now and then. I’ll stick with their other apps while I’m awaiting app versions of the last few puzzles on their website, which haven’t yet been ported over to mobile platforms.

Enttäuschend, langweilig
Im Vergleich zu allen bisherigen Spielen des Entwicklers ein totaler Flop!
Annoying version of Block-A-Pix
Exact same game as Block-A-Pix, but with annoying mascot and animation. Maybe that appeals to some, but not to me.
