Nextstar Media has ruined all their local news apps by requiring you to create an account to watch the news. The ads have tripled. No full screen . The entire top of full screen view is advertising and there’s another at the bottom of the page.

This is the absolute worst app ever. No option to sign in and doesn’t let you watch the Mets game. Horrible app run by a horrible company. I hope the Mets end this contract immediately.

This app left much to be desired which is a shame bc I love pix on tv. Most of the screen was a big graphic which had little to do with the article. Now with this so-called update, the font on the article is so large that it doesn’t scroll & is unreadable. I deleted & reinstalled the app to no avail. Do something, or you lost me!!

Can’t watch the Mets games
Says you’re able to watch the mets games on the website, so I press the website from the app and it just loads forever and the Mets game never turns on !!!!!

Literally useless. Can’t even get the Mets game to start on this dumb app. Should be stripped of their rights to broadcast mets games. And I thought the SNY app was bad. Ridiculous

WPIX App disappointed
Aweful! Can’t watch the news every 90 seconds a hair commercial pops up and knocks of the news broadcast.

This app does not function on my new AppleTV. Only listing for version 3.1 available to download but doesn’t work.

Did hit do not track on AppleTV and not sure if that is why?
Tried deleting and downloading again but it seems AppleTV remembers the selection and does not offer the option to track again.
Really needs to be fixed, otherwise only option is use it on phone or iPad and stream it to your AppleTV.

Cant stream to Roku ., Airstream doesnt recognize Roku or Google stream device defaults to iphone or ipad...disappointing

I enjoy using this app to access PIX’s local new coverage. It is reliable and easy to use for both live coverage and VOD.
My only criticism is that the ads shown in the livestream play at 2x volume from the broadcast. This should be looked into!

Very readable news app
Yes, this from New York. But the entirety of the news is interesting and applicable to all readers. I can skip some of the nitty- gritty NY and NJ stories, if I want. The news seems to be refreshingly apolitical and not biased. Great! Good reporting and not the usual AP news service regurgitation. I’m reading this app daily. Try it!
