One of the best pixel art apps, but could be better
The app itself is really good in how it handles pixel art. The fact that it's available offline with files to organize my work beats all other online platforms. But it still has some pretty basic missing features, such as naming the tiles so when exporting it already goes with a predetermined name, when zomming in/out it messes up the pixel brush location, there's no way to copy/mirror any work done in the software, it must all be done by hand, everytime.
Overall it's a good app, but needs improvement

Potential
This app has a lot of things going for it but it’s not quite there in terms of being able to call itself a professional pixel editor. There are several major oversights regarding having a pleasant workflow as well as the lack of some basic tools one would expect to find in a $10 pixel art app. As mentioned in the other review, selecting colors is an unintuitive, almost-painful process that seriously inhibits creativity/productivity. There is no straight line tool, nor are there any tools for drawing basic primitives. There are some UX oddities - layers are hidden in their own menu making them cumbersome to work with. I’d love to see this app reach its full potential - especially as it has some features I haven’t found in any other pixel art apps in the App Store, namely the ability to generate blob tilesets - although I’m not totally certain this feature has been implemented correctly. Nevertheless, generating tilesets straight from the iPad would be really awesome. I really hope the developer puts in some serious effort to get this where it deserves to be - it could be one of the best if the many issues were worked out.

Color selection is terrible
It takes to many steps to edit colors. No HSB color value option. No way of doing smooth color transitions
Response from developer
Thank you for the feedback. I will try to improve this based on your suggestions for a future release!

Can't open PNGs?
Importing existing graphics is cumbersome at best. Can't use in my workflow for this reason.
Response from developer
Please try V2.0 or greater. PNG's can be imported using the Import button on the toolbar.
