Was once a great app
I dig this app. Super simple to use for the basic stuff that I needed to do. It has great features that does enhance what I can do. However, with every update over the last 15-18 months. It has moved away from its simplistic ways. The UI has become a pain. From cropping, to resizing text. It’s now a chore to do.

Long time Pixlr user and supporter
The app could be better. There’s some functionality there but if they just adapted the Pixlr X web/desktop app for use on mobile then it would be my go to every single time that I’m not at my PC
As it stands there just isn’t the functionality or flexibility that I would expect from Pixlr who I have been a plus subscriber to for I think around 7-8 years.
The tools seem comprehensive but when you try to use them they’re just a bit clunky and the tools you actually want aren’t there.
It was only very recently they added “add image” so you could actually compose layers which was a big step forward from having to bodge images using “double exposure”.
Personally I don’t see why liquify, sharpen, glitch, blur, smooth etc are in the “tools” section. They’re not tools, they’re effects and adjustments, not tools.
Also not being able to free transform added shapes is a real pain in the a**

Hate the new update!!!
I Normally love this app… But now I cannot lay out text the way I want to when I’m designing posters…(the way I used to be able to)… I can’t stretch out the text/add additional lines of texts etc…I’m having trouble turning the text words . And I wish they would go back to the way it was before the update because the way it is now is terrible… please fix this problem… Because it is a game changer!!!

Amazing!
This app is amazing! You can do a million different things to photos and illustrations. Very value driven app. I use it almost daily if not daily.
