Okay but customisation is awful
I decided I fancied a Hawaiian but with spicy chicken instead of ham and then add balsamic drizzle. Haven't tried it yet. But it illustrates the customisation issues.
If you go through all the 'large from £9.99' options and do the customisation, there are 2 at £11.99 that need 4 removals and 2 additions. Then there are 7 that work out at £13.79, 1 at £13.99 and the simplest at £15.79. Why! Obviously people will choose one of the simpler options and end up paying more. I can get my choice at £11.99 but it makes it much more difficult for the store to follow, if I make it easier for them, I pay up to £3.80 more.
You also have to be very careful when adding your 'free' rewards. If you are using any other voucher it can dramatically increase the price. Check carefully before you order. Some of the deals are fine, some aren't. I had one that was about £23, I added the 'free' garlic bread (normally £5.99) and the price jumped to £46 as the 'two for £21' offer was removed.
The app can take a while to get into, first few times it never managed it though the android version did (but still slow) I assume the speed is down to their website. Other than that it is very good. Works well, all the issues are with the backend really.
The pizza is great and it reheats nicely in an airfryer (150 for 7 minutes is about right) so I can use the deals to get a sensible price and not waste anything.
Maybe add a notes field for the order so I could say 'it's basically a hawaiian but add balsamic and swap the ham for spicy chicken' then they don't have to mess about. Also a way to delete the entire basket would be good, I removed all the items and now have an empty basket at £2.49 (the delivery charge for getting nothing!). I know it's silly but it speaks to a lack of proper testing.

Rewards basically cost you money to claim
You cannot use a deal even ordering if you try to claim a “reward”. So you actually have to pay a lot more to claim a “free” reward. Making them pointless as it’s more expensive to claim them than not. Rewards are a con.

I got an email for a Father’s Day treat. “Book a table for a free buffet or pizza”. Clicked on the link and you have to download the app which was fine. You can’t book a table through the app. What a complete waste of time and effort. You need to sort this out Pizza Hut. Pathetic. 🤬

Broken app since 500.543.0
Today I am very hungry and want pizza hut. I wanted to order and noticed the app had a different icon. Now when I open the app, it just stays in the White Screen with red Pizza Hut logo and nothing happens no matter what I do or how many times I uninstall and reinstall the app.

The app never moves from ‘order confirmed’ status. Even when the pizza has arrived at my door. C’mon Pizza Hut…sort it out….

Entered my email for login. Got a verification link to my inbox. It says valid for 20 mins. Clicked the link in my email and the app says “sorry link expired”.
Whoever is in charge of PizzaHuts app will have seen a sharp drop in usage. Wonder why it’s still so badly broken? Did they fire the human and replace them with something non-human? tsk tsk

Can’t log in anymore
When I go to log in, it sends me an email with a link to click that just opens the page back to the page it was on before.
