Never sends verification or password
Joined multiple times but never gives the verification code despite checking junk inbox. Rubbish and I will avoid the restaurant as a result as I am missing out on all the deals

Tried to register to log in to the app. But no verification code received even though the email address is correct and not in the junk folder.

Don’t use the app it’ll try and force you to make an account even if you press checkout as guest.

My phone is not as up to date as Pizza Express would like it to be
Unfortunately I am not able to enjoy any of my Gold tier rewards anymore unless I get a better (more up to date) phone first! Why not allow greater accessibility to the rewards? It would be helpful if customers had loyalty cards for example, rather than relying on the app (which doesn’t always work well - even if it was up to date!)

App will not allow login
App willl not send verification email. Can log in on website but the app is unusable. Please fix ASAP
Account suspended without PizzaExpress willing to discuss the matter.
Before visiting my local pizza Express ,I opened my app and was told that my account ( Gold Level) had been suspended due to suspicious activity. After contacting Pizza Express, they were dismissive and not willing to resolve the issue. Disgraceful!
Don’t trust the promos
I was in a restaurant and saw that I had a buy one get one free promo on the app. I ordered the pizzas. By the time it came to pay I opened to app again pay only to find that the promotions had all been changed and they would not honour the promo. Apparently due to the app updating or some excuse. Either way, not impressed with the way this app works. Complained to customer service but pizza express refused to honour it.

Downloaded app on my iPhone. The tab to click on to register to use this app is slightly off the bottom of the page and cannot be scrolled down to rendering the app inaccessible and useless. What a waste of time.
Useless can’t even get past login
Doesn’t even let me login, all I want is to scan the QR code on my supermarket Pizza and claim the rewards but can’t even get past the login page despite resetting my password, joke of an app

The uber eats person never arrives. No customer support. Its a fraud and you will loose your money and sleep hungry

Rubbish app
This app is not intuitive. The 4 times I’ve used this app I’ve had problems. On a few occasions, despite my booking a table beforehand, it didn’t recognise my location when I went to check in. I was advised by the restaurant manager that I should login to the Pizza Express WiFi, which I’m reluctant to do as it poses a security risk, being a public WiFi. One occasion I tried to check in whilst in the restaurant but it kept checking me in to another pizzeria. Just used the app now and my lovely waitress explained that I needed to place my order with her first and then I could pick up my bill and discount offer’s subsequently. It’s disappointing that I’ve needed the help of Pizza Express staff each time I used the app. I’m not the only person as people behind me today also needed help with the app. Surely this app can work better than this. It’s a waste of your resources and is so blooming confusing to your customers. Or perhaps, the app needs a better explanation as to how it works.

First - it’s 2026, where’s your dark mode icon? It would take all of 5 minutes for your developer to open the current one in Photoshop, invert it, and export it at the relevant sizes needed for iOS. Come on…
Secondly - every visit feels like a disappointment to me because I can’t redeem multiple offers. Zizzi’s app and restaurants are fantastic - the more I visit, the more rewards I get, but…get this…I can claim multiple rewards at once!
With Pizza Express, you can only claim once at a time. This feels unfair when the competition offers it - would it really kill you to let me have a free starter and a free drink? Would your profits be hit that much? I doubt it…and sadly this is one of many factors why I don’t visit Pizza Express as much anymore.
