Four more things to do, more pictures, and a lock that stays out of the way. SHADOWS A dark shape at the top and the pictures underneath. Your child taps the one that made it, and the shadow fills in and becomes that picture. QUIET SORT One picture and two baskets — animals and vehicles, say, or food and weather. Your child taps the basket it belongs in. You choose which pair in Settings. FIND THE PAIR Four pictures, two of them the same. A wrong tap fades and settles back. Nothing is taken away. BIG AND SMALL One picture and two baskets. Is it the big one or the small one? PUZZLE Two or three pieces of one picture, and a faint outline of the whole. A piece that does not land comes quietly back. TAP Pictures that bounce when touched and stay. Nothing to finish. DINOSAURS Five new drawings — a T. rex, a long-neck, a triceratops, a stegosaurus and a pterosaur — offered with the same picture activities as the animals. LOWERCASE LETTERS The whole alphabet again in small letters, as its own book, drawn as the strokes a child is taught to write. FOOD AND WEATHER Eighteen new pictures across two new sets — apples, bread, a cut orange, a rainbow, a snowman, an umbrella. COLOUR IN Wipe a finger across a part of the picture to take its colour off again, so changing one thing no longer means clearing the whole page. A GENTLER PACE A switch in Settings. Everything the app does in answer to a tap takes a little longer. It is off unless you turn it on. NEXT, NOT A GRADE When a picture is finished, the child can tap Next. There is no star and no streak. The lock stays on. The lock now stays with the activity, so the first swipe home is absorbed while it is on. Getting something wrong still does nothing but let them try again. There is no red mark, no cross, no score and no timer, and nothing at all is collected — not even which pictures they finished.
