Fingers crossed
Edit: Man, this is such a refreshing response! I appreciate your direct reply and updated my review back to the original rating.

You are right, and honestly I had not thought about it this way. The podcast card was meant as a small note for people who asked for the podcast, not as an ad, but I understand that on the main screen of an app you paid for, it can feel exactly like one. Some people simply do not want that on their home screen, and that is a fair expectation. The card can already be dismissed with the X button until a new episode comes out, but that is clearly not enough for how you use the app. In version 2026.6 I will add an option to turn these cards off completely. Thank you for the direct feedback, this is exactly the kind of criticism that makes the app better.
10/10 planetary hour app and so much more!
I mainly use it for the widgets I get to have on my Home Screen that’s shows the planetary hours and the moons phase percentage but they have evolve into so much more (,:
It’s nice how we now have monthly news letters and added podcasts (for free) it’s feels great to be part of this evolving community and a proud first hand witness to say you do get a personalized response from the plantaro team and Muhammad himself when you have a concern (,; it feels nice to be seen and heard even when it’s just concerns about my silly little widgets
No ads and doesn’t track your activity across apps (so rare these days)

UPDATE: This Is How a Developer Earns Back a Customer
I am updating that review because Muhammed, the developer of Planetaro, completely changed my perspective through how he handled the situation.
Rather than dismissing the criticism or sending a canned response, he personally explained what happened. A long standing bug had unintentionally allowed some users continued access to Pro functionality, and the recent update corrected it without the team realizing how many longtime users would suddenly be affected.
More importantly, he listened.
One of my biggest concerns was the lack of a fair one time purchase option. Muhammed acknowledged that criticism, and Planetaro has since introduced a lifetime Pro option, which directly addresses the concern I originally raised.
He also went out of his way to make sure my individual issue was fully resolved, and he did so with a level of generosity and personal attention that I genuinely did not expect.
That mattered.
The app itself was always excellent. That is why I cared enough to criticize the change in the first place. Planetaro is beautifully designed, genuinely useful, and its planetary hour features have become part of my regular routine.
What impressed me most, though, was how the developer responded when faced with legitimate criticism. Muhammed listened, explained the situation transparently, addressed the underlying concern, and personally followed through until the issue was completely resolved.
That is how you rebuild trust with a customer.
My original criticism reflected my genuine experience at the time, and I still understand why users were frustrated. But when a developer responds this thoughtfully and actually makes meaningful changes, it is equally important to recognize that.
My issue has been completely resolved, I’ve regained access to the wonderful widgets pro feature and I am once again very happy to support and recommend Planetaro.
5 stars — both for the app and for an independent developer who demonstrated that he genuinely cares about the people using it.

Thank you so much for this. After these difficult weeks, reading that the way I handled it earned your trust back means more than the five stars themselves. Your original criticism was completely fair, as were all the other critical reviews. I just tried to explain what happened, even though I never anticipated it myself. That is why I published the blog post, and why I have been paying extra attention to make sure every email I receive gets a real answer that actually reaches the user. Thank you for giving Planetaro a second chance.
