Delay in loading pages

Many times, this app has delayed loading the next page, which has put me in a difficult position while on stage. This app is supposed to be designed for on-stage use, yet it’s becoming increasingly unreliable.
The lack of offline caching is also a major issue. Many times, people have gone on stage without internet access, even for files they were using just minutes earlier.
We pay a significant amount for Planning Center, and it’s disappointing to see these critical bugs persisting—especially ones that directly impact the Music Center during live services.

Response from developer

Hi there, we are sorry to hear this has been your experience with the Music Stand app. Please email support@planningcenter.com, and we would love to talk about this with you!

Bugs and unfulfilled feature requests

Sometimes the app will not save annotation changes due to the chart being changed by the leader while the changes were in progress. Other times it won't save due to a software bug. I kept expecting this to get fixed in an update, but years later it's still a problem. I make extensive annotations, mostly tab notation. In 2019 I asked for a mono spaced font, which would be super helpful for tab. Surely this would be an easy add, right? Also requested: when a chart's text fills the page I want to be able to zoom out in order to create space on the right (or left) for my tab annotations.

Wish I never updated…

Since a recent update, I can no longer view individual songs unless they are in my scheduled plans. :(

We love it!

We use it constantly & can’t imagine being without it! One of the most user friendly apps ever.

Not working

This app does not work with I phone. I need to be sble to print copies of music chords

Unreliable

This used to be a good app but has become unreliable. It seems I always need to have paper copies ready to go because right before the service, Music Stand will decide not to display the music. Or, other times it will close mid-song and when reopening I need to login with my account credentials again. Just glitches that make it unreliable to use in a worship setting. Tonight I opened the app and it decided to display blank, white, page instead of the very same music that was up yesterday.

Crashing upon opening?

iOS

Quit working

I’ve used this app for years on computer, iPad, iphone, MacBook, etc. today I tried to turn on the page turn facial recognition, and the app went berserk. Turn it off and it crashes every time I try to open it. I’ve tried to reinstall, restart, and nothing works… help!

Glitch

Help! I love the app and I Don’t know how to get you a message any other way but the latest update will not allow me to open the app

Tired of losing my annotations

Once again, spent an hour marking up a song, once again, all my work lost.

My music stand

I can’t login toMy music stand and my planning center shows music for 2022

Annotations really buggy

Edits don’t stay. Erasures don’t stay. Well, some do and some don’t. App needs work, not a reliable tool.

Update for IOS

How soon before an update for this app for IOS 18?

Annotations no longer work on either my iPhone nor my IPad since I recently updated both to IOS 18.

Annotation Fail IOS 18

Annotations don’t work anymore with IOS 18+

Now it’s broken

A recent update made this very unreliable. Adding notes is almost always glitchy. The chart will disappear, notes won’t save or will disappear only to reappear later. Maybe an iOS 18 problem?

Must update for iOs18

Cannot annotate; surpising an update is taking so long

Editing Is A Nightmare

Making edits or annotating works very inconsistently
