A Super User’s Dream

I love the flexibility of doing so many common tasks from my phone instead of pulling out my laptop. This app was hugely beneficial during our VBS. I could seamlessly work in check-ins, registrations and people on the fly all over our campus.

Too slow

So far, the new integration of having everything you need in one app has potential, but app is far too slow and cumbersome. Going back out of documents or zooming in on things resets the view and puts you back on the Home Screen. So not very usually to do any sort of tasks right now for me until app load speed and bugs are worked out.

Good Responsiveness

Initially the app would crash on load. The PCO team did a great job of remedying the problem. The app works well!

It’s still buggy

App is functional, but has some bugs. Task lists default to sorting alphabetically without the ability to save sorting it by due date. Customization pretty minimal for a robust task list app.

It’s still buggy

App is functional, but has some bugs. Adding tasks, you can’t put a due date because the calendar falls mostly below the iPhone screen. Task lists default to sorting alphabetically without the ability to save sorting it by due date. Customization pretty minimal for a robust task list app.

Terrible

It is almost impossible to use the Services portion of this App. It is like there are several windows that each scroll and it is extremely difficult to use. I moved back to just the Services App.

This is so convenient to finally have!

As someone who is constantly needing to run things on the back end of planning center across their different apps, it was such a pain in the butt to not have a mobile version that could do that. Before this, you’d have to go through a browser in order to access the back end of registrations, groups, and giving. And each of the other platforms like services, people, and check-ins had their own individual apps which was frustrating. Having everything together in one easy to use app is amazing🙏

Excited to see where this goes

Hopefully integrating the other apps is a priority. Calendar is gone from the App Store I think? So this app has to be used for calendar. It’s not perfect; the web view has occasional scrolling issues. Hopefully it gets more native and smooth.

Stuck on login

I’m so excited for this app but it gets stuck on the login screen every time and won’t progress beyond that. Hoping for a fix soon!

Love that they did this!

I’m so glad that they made this an option. I have basically been using planning center from my web browser on my phone to manage things that I couldn’t in the apps. And now I can do it all from this app. This is extremely helpful for me when using Check In and Registrations. Thank you Planning Center! You all are the BEST!!

Still Developing

I saw on the website that they had just released the PCO app, so I decided to give it a try. It kept reloading when it asked for me to log in, but after I could see the very nicely designed layout of the home page. I had hoped that it would also incorporate the elements of the Church Center app and combine them. I do appreciate that it does combine the different sub platforms, but it’s not particularly useful for me at the moment. I think fixing a couple of things would make this app work very nicely!

Game changer!

The accessibility of every planning center product is an absolute game changer. I love how every workflow, task, and items that need my attention all show up in the same place!

The only thing that I feel like could add to it at this point is an integrated communication feature for task lists. Where we are able to communicate information regarding a specific task or project.

Still, such a Great Leap Forward and I’m excited to see how this continues to develop!

Better off in Web Browser

When you install the app you lose ability to open planning centre in your regular web browser. However, all the app does for some tasks is mimic opening in your web browser, but with without navigation buttons, basically taking away functionality in certain tasks.

App Crashes Every Time I Load It

I am a seasoned Planning Center users, but this new app crashes on startup every time. I am happy to change this to a positive review if they can get it working.

Wow!

This is a huge improvement in functionality. I also love that I can now clear off all my other apps (People, Services, etc.) and access the same information in one place. Thanks so much, Planning Center!!
