Great app done dirty by iOS 26
I love this app. Mostly, it allows me to check out my books from the stacks and avoid waiting in line. I love the additions made of room reservations, wireless printing, and access to apps like Kanopy, e-magazines, and Linkedin Learning. However, with the release of iOS 26.3, the search function in the app started behaving strangely. If you searched anything, it would zoom in a little and stay that way until you closed the app. This has been driving me crazy since February.
I finally figured out a solution today. It seems to be an issue with Dynamic Type. Going to Settings -> Accessibility -> Display and Text Size -> Larger Text and making sure ‘Larger Accessibility Sizes’ is turned Off gave me my favorite library app back. I didn’t have this setting on previously but it got turned on with the update. Hope this easy solution works for anyone else having this problem.

Permanent zoom-in on search
This app is unusable because it permanently zooms in when you use the search bar. This was not tested at all as this is the main feature of a library app and Plano Library doesn’t care that they broke their app for everyone. It’s sad.
Fix the problem!
Every time I want to find a book or hold a book, it always zoom in automatically and it always pops up very big website. Very annoying! Fix it please!
