About
Have a plant list you can't picture? A native-plant sale list, a nursery availability sheet, a landscape designer's planting plan, a row of shelf tags — Plant List Visualizer turns it into a gallery with one picture per plant, in the list's own order, so you can see what you're choosing.
MADE FOR
• Plant sales — native-plant societies, garden clubs and arboretums publish long lists of botanical names; see the whole list before you go
• Nursery and garden-center shopping — availability sheets and shelf tags
• Landscape and garden plans — see the plants your designer specified
• Lawn-replacement and water-wise plant lists — choose from an approved list by sight, not by Latin name
• Pollinator, native and perennial gardens
HOW IT WORKS
• Photograph a plant list (or pick a photo from your library, paste the text, or paste a link)
• Text is read on your device, and the plants are extracted with AI
• Every plant gets a picture: an attributed sample from stock and open-media web sources, or a clearly labeled AI-generated illustration — you choose the mode
• The list keeps its own order and section headings, so the gallery reads side-by-side with the sheet in your hand
NOT A PLANT IDENTIFIER
Plant List Visualizer starts from names you already have. It does not identify a plant from a photo of the plant.
ACCOUNTS AND PLANS
• A free account is required — it carries your monthly allowance and your plan across devices
• Free includes attributed web-sample galleries every month
• Plus and Pro add AI-generated illustrations and larger monthly allowances; you can see every plan in the app before subscribing
• Pro adds an About row that links each plant's Wikipedia article
HANDLED WITH CARE
• Text recognition runs on your device
• Your photo leaves the device only when you tap Visualize, is processed transiently, and is never stored on our servers
• No ads and no third-party trackers
HONEST IMAGES
• Web samples carry attribution and a link to the source
• AI illustrations are always labeled as AI — never passed off as photos
• Results are best-effort visual aids, not a substitute for checking plant safety, toxicity, or whether a plant suits your site
Found an image that's wrong or offensive? Every picture has a "Report this image" link — reports go straight to our team.
