Pay to see more data
The app will show you how your plant is currently doing but if you want to see the history, you need to pay an expensive subscription fee. Wouldn’t have bought the sensor if I knew otherwise.
Plant Sense
I have been using this app and sensors for a few years now. At the start i had a few hiccups and battery issues (all sorted quickly and efficiently by the great team) once this was sorted, yes the plans are a bit pricey but the peace of mind has been worth it. I have over 40 plants and this has helped with keeping them happy and healthy. No overwatering or under watering. It helps with light alerts and also humidity, over heating. Less stress and more enjoyable. My plants look so much better.

Works incredibly well
My plants are thriving thanks to this app - does exactly what it promises. The subscription is fairly priced, and it makes sense that ongoing support and app improvements require it. For those unhappy about the subscription, keep in mind that the devices are likely sold near cost or at a loss without it.

Game changer
I thought I was doing a reasonable job with my plants…until willow. Now they are thriving - I now have 15 plants with sensors. Highly recommend. Friends have seen my plants and gone off to invest themselves and have been equally impressed.
It is helpful
I really use it for its basic function. It tells me when my plat needs watering, and i water it, and it tells me i watered the right amound when i do. I also check every other day to see if its happy with the moisture level. And when i place it near a different window, its helpful that it tells me if the amount of light is right. Would recommend.

Disappointing
Sensor hardly updates even if I reopen app to refresh. Therefore notifications come the next day. Using free version and can’t see why I would pay a monthly fee. Spent $100 for hub and have 2 sensors. Think I wasted my money.

Great plant friend
I have been able to keep all my plants alive since using Willow. There are great tips on how I can improve the living conditions for each plant. Also being able to track when I water / fertilise etc is handy.

These sensors and app have helped my plants to thrive - turns out I was a chronic over waterer and my plants were suffering - since the app and sensors my plants are healthier than ever and flowering which I have seen in a long time
Great device and app
I love Willow and wouldn’t be without it. It reassures me that my plants are properly cared for and that their needs are being actively monitored so I can respond in a timely manner when I receive alerts. It takes a lot of the guesswork out for a beginner plant parent and has been a great way to learn how to plant parent. The app is full of useful advice on each plant’s needs and ideal conditions and how to provide the best care so I can replicate them in my home. The best proof that it’s a worthwhile investment is that my plants are thriving.

The Willow sensors and app have really helped my plants to thrive, honestly the feedback from the sensors is great and helps pinpoint exactly what they need. It isn’t cheap, but it’s definitely worth it.
So Difficult
I am so sorry I bought this. It is so difficult to navigate. It does not pick up the Wi-Fi. I’m trying to change plant names. It is giving me a hard time. I am so disgusted with this app and I spent so much money on it. I don’t recommend this for plans lovers.

Just got my Willow hub and sensors
Setup was easy and smooth! The app interface is easy to understand and packed with useful information - fingers crossed that Willow can be the green thumb fairy I need to help our plants survive and thrive.
Love it!
It’s a fabulous app and program. A couple of improvements I’d like to see are:
1) I’d like the functionality to be able to update or sync the plant sensor straight after watering or moving into a more lit area
2) at times it’s hard to know if the light reading is correct as the sensor hides under the leaves on some plants
3) at times the sensor sends a notification that the plant is thirsty, but it was only watered the day prior.
With all of that, I’d also like to note that my plants have gotten so much more new growth and flowers since I started using Willow. I’m a very happy customer

Unreliable sensors and poor app experience. Don’t buy this product.
The overall experience testing Willow has been poor. They are using tuya sensors of poor quality with a poor accuracy and unreliable data. For the price it is completely unacceptable. One sensor malfunctioned and my impression is that they are using cheap components that leach metals. I have made better myself. Plants that are perfectly happy and watered properly frequently report under-watering. It seems like a marketing product just designed to sell you other products. The app experience is poor and having an additional subscription based service on top of already expensive price for the unreliable electronics and poor app experience is just greedy. I was testing this in the hope of using it for clients and it has been a waste of time and money.

Not intuitive at all
The sensors are very helpful but the hardware and app are pretty bad, not intuitive at all to do the pairing or when there’s errors with the hardware. I regret getting these sensors cause of the app, specially cause there’s parts of the app you need to pay
Life changer
Absolutely love this app and the hardware, used it for 3 months and it’s taken all the guess work out of caring for my plants, I’m a newbie and it’s made all the difference.
Ridiculous
I have seven sensors. NOT cheap. One has consistently failed. I contacted customer service (via email only which is my only available option). Anyways most sensors have been working well for months then SUDDENLY TODAY, all of my data, accounts, plants date has completely disappeared. I reinstalled app and resigned in via Apple ID and for some reason none of my plants info that I have religiously logged has completely disappeared. It is beyond frustrating and now I’m waiting for support to contact me which, based on past experience, is going to take AGES
