Lots of stress testing
I have stress tested this app working with 11 plants. It just isn’t very good. It’s good at identifying plants, and it’s good at saying what a plant needs. That’s about it at that point.
The Plant AI loses conversation history mid-chat, forces a complete memory reset, and loops automated responses despite direct user corrections.
Paying £30 for an app utilizing basic Gemini Flash 1.5 (lightweight AI model) wrapper technology with broken context retention isn't worth the price tag.
If the app utilised more up-to-date technology and the issue of retaining conversation history was properly repaired the £29.99 price point may just, be justified for plant owners. Until these bugs, and tech limits are fixed, unfortunately it just isn’t worth the money.

Amazing App!
Love PLANT AI app! It is so “on the money” with diagnosis, identification and suggestions that work!!! It almost personalizes its info to you (one for AI!) My favorite app!
