About

PlantPacer helps plant owners remember watering rhythms, light preferences, repot dates, and notes for a plant sitter. Set a recurring watering schedule with conservative, seasonally paced intervals, log each watering, and check pet-safety against a built-in care library based on the ASPCA Toxic & Non-Toxic Plant Lists. PlantPacer is a local utility with sample plants. It does not identify species, diagnose disease, or send care data to a server. Optional watering reminders are scheduled on your device, the History tab charts your waterings and streaks from data the app already keeps, and you can back up everything to a single file you control.

**Watering reminders, on your device** Turn on reminders in Info and PlantPacer will nudge you on each scheduled plant's next watering day, at the time you choose. Watering a plant reschedules its reminder automatically. Nothing leaves your device — no account, no push servers. **A new History tab** See how you're really doing. A 12-week chart shows your waterings per week, and each plant gets an on-time rate plus current and longest watering streaks, all built from the history PlantPacer already keeps. **Back up and restore everything to one file** Save all your plants — schedules, watering history, light, and pet-safety — to a single file you can keep or move to a new phone. Restore it later, choosing whether to replace your plants or merge in the ones that aren't already there. Still completely offline, and your existing plants carry over untouched. --- Care-data notes: Watering intervals are conservative midpoints of widely published care ranges; real needs vary with pot size, light, and home humidity. Toxicity classifications follow the ASPCA Toxic & Non-Toxic Plant Lists. PlantPacer is a personal care log — verify toxicity, pests, and outdoor growing guidance independently.
