This app used to let you scan plants for free and the *other* features were part of the paid subscription. This app is unusable now because it forces you to choose a subscription when you try to upload a plant photo. Totally useless now. And no- I don’t want to do a measly 3 day free trial nor pay for a subscription when the features I once enjoyed now cost a fee. Goodbye!

I attempted to use the app today, only to realize there was no way to exit the subscription prompt anymore! Very disappointing, I had used this app since it was named NatureID, and I used to love it. A shame that paywalls are on everything nowadays.
Canceled for a reason in January.
I canceled my platinum subscription and it finally expired in January yet some how I am still getting charged $6.99 twice per week. This app was a pain to deal with when I downloaded it now it’s costing me time and money.
It thinks all my plants are potted plants
I took a pic of my fern in the soil in my garden ( not potted) and it’s diagnosis feature is all based on pot - like when was the last time you repotted etc

This app was great and easy to use and now it just keeps pulling up the subscribe page every time I do anything. Terrible experience making the app unusable now.

This app has completely stopped supporting the free version and no forces you into an endless cycle of making you sign up for either the monthly or yearly membership. Super disappointing because I used to love using this app to identify plants or check how they’re doing. If you’re not interested in paying the $20 a year or $6 a month, then there is literally not a single feature you can use on this app. I would rather they just make you pay for it up front but they hide this fact under the guise of it being free. I would give it a 0 star rating if I could.
