Foggy

Not worth it

I created a Gem in Gemini for free that does everything this app does and more.

I had this app for a year with the paid subscription, and it was alright, but would often times misidentify a plant or give me 10 different options it could be. Other times it would try identifying a plant behind the focal plant, no matter how many times I tried angling it to be clear what I wanted to identify.

Then my subscription ran out, and I opened it to check a plant and see my history because I had identified it before, but it literally would not let me into the app without resubscribing. It gives an add to renew at a lower rate, but the add has no X or close option, the only way to make it go away is buy the subscription again. No thanks. I just made a Gem on Gemini that functions exactly the way this app does, but it’s free, more accurate, and customizable.

Peach Tree

I took a picture of my peach tree because it is yellow and dying. We have had it a few years and it just keeps getting worse and worse. I was hoping that I could be told what some of the problems were and how to take care of them.
I like your program and I do use it sometimes but lately I don’t think I’m getting really good information from it anyway I still use it because there are times it really tells me what to do. Thank you very much.
We also have a palm tree that I think we’re gonna have to remove because it is dying and doesn’t bear anything. I have given it the right amount of fertilizer we take care of as far as water is concerned and I am not seeing bugs on it but we still have treated it for bugs. Maybe you can give me a suggestion I like your program. I just don’t like what it’s been telling me lately thank you.

Most of the times does not identify plants correctly

Have tried on several common plants does not identify

Best plant view.

Great app, I have ft

Was the first app I used that was able to identify the plant right away.

So far I’m liking the app, I just started using but so far I’m impressed by the function and operation of the program.

My plants

Ok, but not reliable

The basic premise is good, but it has flaws. I like how it can identify plants, and does so mostly accurately. However, some of the care information is misleading- eg, claiming plants need full sun, when in reality, further research (ie, googling) shows that they need indirect sun. I lost a few plants due to this app. Some plants have more info on them than others. Plus, you can get almost nothing without paying for the full version. All in all, I’d recommend keeping track of your plants names manually, and googling their needs. Gardening websites or books are a more reliable way to go to learn to care for your plants. Maybe in the future when the app is more refined and reliable I will consider re-downloading for another go.

I LOVE IT!

I love everything about this app!! It has it all from identifying, diagnosing and care schedules for your plants.. to watering reminders and a notes/journal section. it’s really cool! I’m really enjoying it. :)

Improved

The app used to be great mow it doesn’t let me identify any plant ask for money first. And also no longer show any app photos for plants from collections.

Update: the app works better and I can access now access my history. It could be a bug but now it is working the way I remember it in the beginning.

Subpar accuracy

unfortunately, I paid for the lifetime subscription and I wish I had not. The accuracy on identifying plants, especially rare plants is laughable and diagnosis of problems also grossly subpar. This is great if you want to just get watering and fertilization reminders, but if you’re looking for correct diagnosis as as well as as identification look elsewhere.

Good app

Great app

D

Was a great app until it updated. Now you have to pay for basics

I used this app for two year

I used this app for two years with limited functionality and that was all I needed. Now, can’t even use the app without subscribing. I’m some of the responses by the Dev, they say there’s still free options in the app. No there isn’t. There is no way to dismiss the paywall rending this app useless without a subscription. The Dev is even telling people that they can use the 3 day trial to explore the app. This deters the app users that was already using the app. I’m not even using a free trial to explore the app because I already had plants logged in the app. Now I can’t access them unless I pay. I would be willing to pay a one time payment for full functionality like how the App Store was 10 years ago, but not a subscription. Just greedy and money hungry app developers.
